I highly recommend Walmart Optical at 75 Retail Drive. I scheduled an appointment at Spectrum Optical as my glasses had broken, and I needed a lens upgrade. The doctor at Spectrum didn't even examine my eyes for lenses, he said I needed cataract surgery. He referred me to Regional Eye Associates. At least REA listened to me and wrote me a lens prescription. BOTH REA and Spectrum let me walk out with broken glasses and weak lenses. When I arrived at Walmart Optical (a full month and a half after my first appointment at Spectrum); Abby was incredible helpful in picking out proper frames. She took one look at my glasses and said "Would you like me to fix them? It will only take a sec." And it did. Plus the cost was a third of what frames were at Spectrum. I highly recommend Abby at Walmart Optical 75 Retail Drive, Mgtn., WV. She went above and beyond in service and competence. So refreshing after the poor service at Spectrum and REA. And of course I had to pay for 2 expensive eye exams at Spectrum and REA. Spectrum should refund me the cost of that examination, as they failed in their job - MAJORLY.

I had a pick up order at this Walmart today, which is the closest one to me. They texted to let me know my order was ready, yet when I arrived and parked in a spot I waited and waited, watching others get their orders loaded. Finally I called them. To make a long story short they lost my entire order. How? They accidentally, or mistakenly gave it to someone else. Merry Christmas to them! I had to wait about 45 minutes between the time they figured all this out and while they re-shopped for my stuff. It was hot, but thank God for air conditioning. If we senior citizens with health problems have things like this happen very often we might want to explore other shopping options?

Terrible location. Any attempt at calling the store is a fail. It doesn't matter which department you call, no one will ever answer the phone. The automotive department is also miserable. They attempted to double charge me for tires I purchased online and I refused. A few days later I came and picked up the tires they "canceled" in store. The automotive department also cross threaded one of my tires bolts and now I need to get it replaced.

This is a very small Walmart it's not very great it's OK it's usually very difficult to find someone to help you and Dia team leaders and managers are not very helpful either not the best Walmart has to offer

Something has happened to this store in the last few months. They are out of items in my favorites list for as long as 6 weeks. Then they substitute other items with crap I don't want. I have to finish my shopping at one of their competitors which is a pain in the ass. Their competitor can keep in stock but they cannot. Did they get a new manager or something? Don't they view out of stock reports, substitutions refused, don't they have that information and if they do, does it not concern them that I have to go to their competitor which is lost sales for them? I have complained about this weekly and nothing comes from it. The next letter goes to the CEO. There seems to be no management any longer and the customer help department does not care about my numerous inquiries.

The best Walmart I have ever been to. For those of you rating your Walmart with one star..... visit Baltimore. I actually shop there when I visit my daughter at WVU as opposed to shopping at my Walmart near my house in Maryland. Very clean, friendly people and easy to checkout.

The employee in the electronics department today recommended the entirely wrong universal laptop charger (it has 10 different options in the pack) even after I showed him the EXACT charger size I needed. Thumbs down. So incredibly inconvenient that I now have to go to Best Buy later to get the correct one, and will have to make an extra trip back to WalMart as well to return the wrong one.
