I brought my gold rope chain in to be repaired and was told it had to be sent out to be repaired and it would take a week. Many trips and calls to the store later I got my necklace back 7 weeks later and they never sent it to be repaired. I was told excuse and excuse as to why it was someone else's fault and family emergency after family emergency. The owner told me that she found a local jeweler to repair the necklace and she wanted to make things right with me and I let her. I was told it would take 2 or 3 days. Now its 2 weeks later, more trips and phone calls and I don't have my necklace and I don't know who has it.

Amazing customer service and craftsmanship. I took my sons' watch to two different jewelers to be resized. Because of the specific links, one establishment wouldn't even make an attempt, the other quoted me $50 and a three week waiting period. Masman resized the watch and accompanying bracelet in ten minutes for a fraction of the previous quote. Additionally, the individual who assisted us was extremely kind.

Delivery was very difficult. Weeks of delays with many excuses. Mom seems happy with the ring "it's very shiny"

Referred to Masman's by a friend and upon my arrival, was greeted in a welcoming manner. My concerns centered on inherited watches, estimated values, repairs, wrist bands and batteries. Service was exceptional and my goals for the visit were met. I have since suggested Masman's to others.

i brought 2 rings in to be fixed. i asked they reinforce my stones so they dont fall out anymore and replace a stone. It looked like they took gold off my prongs and replaced a stone. Not even 1 week passed and a completely different stone fell out. My other ring i just needed sized up. They sized it up. My 3 large stones looked damaged when i got them back. They went from shiny to slate looking. Both rings retailed 1,000.00 together.

I have never been to this jewelry store before….and I must say….as long I live in Morgantown, I will never step foot into another one except this place. Two phenomenal people that take their time with you, care, and obviously love what they do. I actually have been there 3 days in a row…deciding on something. It’s not common these days you come across people like you do here. If I feel pressured or sense the fact someone just wants to sell you something….I’m probably not purchasing anything. I love supporting local businesses…and this place comes very highly recommended. It was a wonderful experience and as soon as my bank account says ok…I will be back. Thank you. It was a pleasure.I would give one suggestion….other jewelry stores better take note of how you really win people over…by being real and sincere I’ll be back. Even to pop in and see my boy Guinness. (If it’s sunny outside, you may have to step over him coming in the door…lol)Best in town. By far. Thank you!

I damaged my watch bracelet...took it in, fearing would be complete bracelet replacement, but was a pin....very affordable repair. Back to new :)

Masman Jewelers had done good work before on rewiring several lamps, but when I left my recently passed father's watch there, they could not find it, even when I visited months later. If you find it, you can mail it back, and I will erase this review. I am generally well known (and I think well respected) in the community and am not happy.

Best mom and pop shop in Morgantown!...they can fix any watch and MORE!!! Best watch repair shop in Morgantown and they do it SUPER CHEAP!!!!!....and if you order a watch from them it comes VERY FAST!

This a new store to me and was close to my neighborhood. I was welcomed and received several watch batteries. I returned the next day with one watch that stopped ticking and battery was replaced at no charge. I felt welcomed and satisfied with service.

I highly recommend Mason’s for all your jewelry repair needs. When I first encountered them they restored my Grandmother’s wedding band so that I could use it for my own. Since then I’ve taken a few things there to be repaired. They saved me from having to replace my medical alert braclet when it broke!! Now they’re resizing some of my rings for me.

We personally know the owners* so my mom has always gone thru them as a small business to support them. She had her 30+year old wedding ring taken in to clean, as per normal. This time it has been “lost”. So instead of the owner reaching out, my mom had to call and call to figure out what was going on. The owner finally said she’d make her a new one, when the time comes to pick it up, the owner said she lost her ring size ? and if that’s not bad enough, had her come into the store to be sized, just to have the cops waiting on my mom. What could have been an easy fix has turned into an enormous frustration and hassle. Save yourself and go anywhere else.
