I stopped in Fabric on a Roll to purchase replacement fabric for a bar stool. Amanda was very helpful and pointed me to a wide selection of fabrics that would work well. When I removed the seat, I realized that I also needed new foam for the stool. I returned to Fabric on a Roll and Amanda cut me a piece of foam to match the exact shape of the one I was replacing. Good prices and great customer service! Highly recommend this store.

It's not really a fabric retailer. Appeared to be mostly upholstery work. I walked in, looked around & no one even acknowledged me, so I'm really not sure what to think.

The owner of the shop is very nice and knowledgeable. She answered a lot of very basic questions from a beginner and made solid project-based recommendations. Great deals on fabrics. I will be coming back.

My parents had a cushion for a love seat re-upholstered and they did an incredible job with it. As far as I'm aware it's just the business owner who works there, so it takes time for her to get these projects done, but once she does you can tell she put her whole heart into it. She's very friendly as well.

Planning to sew a Prom dress? Probably not your place. Looking for furniture or automobile fabrics? Get in here. Kim jokingly refers to her place as "the Gabe's of fabric stores". She has a wide variety of fabrics for couches, chairs etc. in multiple colors and patterns. She does sell other types of cloth, but not generally the "fancy stuff" you might want for a special quilt or gown, but if you are making a thrifty shirt... She also has a variety of foam paddings for pillows and furniture. More importantly, she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that she will willingly share with you. For all future household applications, I will always look here first.
