Food is always great, especially for late night being as it's open the latest on High St. Portion size could be a little better for pricing, however all around great restaurant, great staff.

I worked here back when I was in my early 20s and I still love it as much now as I did then! It's our go to spot when we need something yummy that won't put us in debt! Great prices and amazing zones! We love you DP Dough ♡

So, we ordered from here about a week ago. I have been debating on leaving a review. We didn't really have a great experience, but the food wasn't bad. So I struggled with how to leave this. The background (its a bit long), we ordered online. Estimated delivery was about an hour. We weren't thrilled, but we continued with the order, because we weren't starving and that was pretty close to the average on that day, at that time (doordash included). So the problems came when after an hour we still didn't hear anything. Around 1.15 we called the restaurant to check on the order, which is when we were informed they didn't actually have a delivery driver that night and were waiting on a third party. Long story short, we went to pick it up the food ourselves. The store said they remade the food, bc it had been sitting for so long. Which was most likely true about the calzones, probably not true about the rest of the order. It took (included drive time to and from the restaurant) closer to 2 hours to get out food. I truly am not upset about the experience, things happen. But I really struggle with why the restaurant didn't just call us as soon as they received the order, when they knew they didn't have a delivery drive that night. They should have been honest and given us an opportunity to adjust our plans. We could have came to pick it up ourselves, or just canceled the order before we (us and the restaurant) wasted so much time.But I did like my Calzone, the dough was as good as the reviews said.

Having a history in baking and even running a catering business centered around handcrafted bread, I possess a discerning palate when it comes to bread flavors. The allure of DP Dough's calzones was undeniable, compelling me to experience their gastronomic wonder firsthand.On two occasions, I indulged in their exquisite calzones, meticulously tailored with mozzarella, ricotta, Italian sausage, and generously adorned with extra green pepper and onion. The symphony of flavors had me utterly captivated, a sensation bordering on addictive.A culinary connoisseur who usually favors gentle flavors, I found DP Dough's masterpiece neither excessively salty nor oily. The artful balance in their calzones is a testament to their craftsmanship. The ethereally thin and tender dough further elevated the experience, resulting in an unparalleled gustatory voyage.I'm no aficionado of conventional pizzas and similar fare, but DP Dough's calzones have firmly secured their spot as my indulgent go-to treat. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, personally. We got 6 calzones and 2 dessert sides. None of the boxes were marked to tell us which calzone was which, and all 6 were flavorless. Both desserts were burt and tough to bite into. We were inside for 20 minutes, and with 5 females behind the counter, we got 5 years' worth of gossip ? those employees were very loud.

No care for customer service, the quality of their food has declined over the last decade, downtown morgantown food is awful, this has to be one of the worst.
