Martinsburg Walmart (800 Foxcroft Ave) beware for they attempt to sell outdated items and produce that they claim they don't sell. Received which appeared to be 6 green hard Bannas with my curbside pickup that after 6 days showed no sign of turning yellow. They claimed they didn't sell this product to me nor could explain what it was, wasn't a Banna or a plantain. Open products, missing or damaged that Walmart.com refunds (purchase is verified by order #) for but if in store purchase a receipt must be furnished. Today 03/05 a 60count box of eggs yielded 22 broken eggs, over a third of its contents. I expect 1 or 2 maybe 4 in 60 but not 22. An item purchased never made it to my home even though I turned the carousel twice. Walmart.com nor the store would help.

This was one of my last stops in this area before I decided it was time to start trekking back home. I only needed a few more things that I could not find elsewhere and I wanted to make sure I grabbed them while I was out because I was not making another trip. With it being the holiday season this place was packed, not unlike any other weekend. I ran in here and tried to make my way around the store as fast as I could. In my mad dash to grab things I was able to complete my shopping list without too much hassle from the other customers. Even in the midst of holiday season, they seemed to have a well stocked store.

I stopped in for a few mostly grocery type things while on a trip on the area. It was a typical Walmart and I didn't have any issues. They had what I needed, staff was friendly and self check out was fast and easy, even with buying beer. I didn't see any cashier lanes, only acres of self check out so not sure if you have the option to do non-self check out. It wasn't too crowded and parking was easy. I'd come back here if I was in the area and need something.

So I've never had a problem with this particular walmart bc I'm usually in and out. Today I went to return some items purchased online and shipped by Walmart but Kayla...the store manager told her customer service associates that she is not returning the items in her store. Hmmmmm interesting so I went to online customer service and through them have a return barcode with approyal to return to ANY walmart location. So yeah I'm going back to this particular Walmart to return. So Kayla...you may want to understand the return policy before denying a return. Also you may want to get out of the office and take a walk around your store especially the customer service area....carts full of every and anything. Not a good look. To the online customer service person that helped me...i thank you

Where do I begin with how awful this Wal Mart is? Let me first say that I do understand we are in a Pandemic and life has changed. That being said and understood, why is it that surrounding Wal-marts manage to offer actual people to ring up our items in addition to offering the option of a self check out, while the Wal Mart in Martinsburg WV thinks its offering excellent "customer service" by granting its "valued" customers one option, and thinking we, as said customers should be greatful? Not only that, but heaven forbid one tries to check out at a register that won't let a customer pay with cash. For that, I received the extra added bonus of waiting in an extra line while some "cashier" proceeded to take me to another line and take 15 extra minutes to pay for my order. This has happened twice. And not only has it happened twice. Its happened while so called employees have stood around in their self importance and talked about the weather. ( its cold out, if anyone asks) . Thank you, Wal Mart for making my life more difficult than it has to be. You're stellar in my book!

Way too ghetto. It's like little Baltimore around there. Nothing but criminals and welfare recipients loading up two shopping carts to the max. Truly disgusting.

This has to be the worst Walmart I've been to! None of the employees know where anything is! There are never any human operated lanes open! The management put large shipments of product in isle so you can't get what you need! They are constantly out of product I'm looking for!

Parking lot reeks of urine from truckers and campers dumping at the far end of the lot. Smells like a cattle yard....

Horrible place, run away. There are about 30 self-checkout registers and one incompetent person handling everyone at these registers. You will not find any registers with actual Walmart employees scanning your things. If you have a large cart, you'll be the one to scan and bag everything. And if you need help, you won't get it. They'll yell at you if you request help. I asked someone for help and she said "we're short, I'm the only one here so you'll have to wait". I think I had bought beer (or something) and she had to scan her badge so I could leave, and I had been waiting for about 20 mins. The Manager with purple hair did nothing when I asked if they could call someone for help (there were many people like me waiting after scanning their things).I will never come back to this place. Will go to MARTIN'S around the corner even if it's more expensive. I don't care.

Me and my husband was looking at clothes. When he pulled out a shirt that had bedbugs on it. Call over a manger who google to see if it was bedbugs. Then threw the shirt away. Never check the other clothes or did anything farther..

This location is one of my favorites. Staff is the same as any location. Treat people with respect and kindness and you will receive the same in return.Parking is easy in and out as the lot is not littered with curbed grass islands. The lot is extra large and accommodates rv's, Commercial trucks, and personal vehicles nicely. Walmart's provide a shopping experience available nowhere else. I've been stopping at this location for 14 years as the operator of a semi truck pulling 53 foot trailers.I spend the night at Walmart's +80% of the nights on the road. I've always been impressed with the cleanliness of the parking lot here. Anxiously waiting for hours to go back to open 24/7 as I normally shop around 0400 in the morning to avoid the crowds.Paul Kersey (CB handle-Mr Magoo)
