Kristine has been awesome for me she did my signing up over the phone for which was a great help, and she even gave me the first month's rent free which is an even better help since I can't move in yet! I needed more space and this time Gabby was extremely helpful and got me into another unit in no time everything went smoothly! Thank you Kristine and Gabby!

Yet another price increase with no improvements to show for it. Absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for storage.
1. While my goods were stored in one of their units I ended up with live MICE (seriously - I found pinkies) that ate through my belongings. I had already had that storage unit for over a year, and there was no food to attract them in my unit.
2. I have come by a few times (both day and night) where the gates are stuck OPEN. That most certainly does not feel like my stuff is secure.
3. You can NEVER get through to a real live person at this particular location. I've even had to call *other* Valley Storage locations to get answers. I've also had to *drive* to this location just to get a hold of someone because they don't answer their phones. If you ever need to travel for any length of time, look elsewhere because you won't be able to manage any issues with them remotely.
4. This is my second price increase since I've been with them. At the first price increase they assured that they were updating their website and phone system. There has been ZERO improvement on either of those fronts. In fact, last month I had to pay over my phone's internet browser because my laptop won't connect to their website anymore due to their website no longer using encryption to protect my data... and I am still unable to reach someone at that office by phone.
5. Now onto this second price increase which prompted this review (the "good news, we're increasing your rate again!" email). My rental insurance covers my storage unit. I got it specifically because their coverage rightfully does not offer protection for the stuff I have at my apartment, and yet it costs the same amount with my auto insurance company to cover both. The email received today states that we have again furnish proof of coverage, or I'm getting hit with their price increase.
It's absolutely ridiculous. You provide worse service now (as far as phone availability & website functionality) than when I first started with you, I've never had problems with pests with any other storage facility, and now you want to force me into a second price increase.
Again, if you've made it this far, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for storage.

This is definitely a store at your own risk location. I stopped by to get something out of my camper on Tuesday the 9th of January only to find the gates where wide open and unlocked and when I proceed to my camper only to find out we had been vandalized and my propane tanks had been stolen out of the brackets. After looking around and realizing many other campers also had their tanks stolen, I went straight to the office to report the situation.
Upon reporting the problem I was instantly told they had left the gates wide open for the snowplow access (the snow came on the 6th 3 day's prior and no excuse for not just giving them a code to get in!!) So initially they acted somewhat concerned and had the police involved and said they wanted to figure out who did it but valley advised me to file a claim on my own insurance policy to try and get the tanks replaced.
So after giving valley 2 months and zero communication from them in regards to the situation an asinine blanket letter was sent out to all tenants stating that it is your responsibility as tenants with campers when storing your unit to remove propane tanks and batteries and store them inside your camper!!
After a short look around for another storage location, I found out other storage facilities had been vandalized as well, and they were replacing tanks for their tenants at no cost to the tenant and without an insurance claim!! So store at your own risk or store with someone who cares. It's up to you!!!!

The manager Crystal was amazing in setting up my profile but also very knowledgeable about what sizes may be more suitable to my needs. She was very professional and courteous to work with.
