Always super busy and always a super long line. Most the time there's only 1 person at the front to help. Sometimes 2. Even then, they aren't always very helpful. Please hire more knowledgeable individuals who want to work, thank you.

Saturday is most likely the busiest day of the week for doing business at the post office. All of the windows need to be open. One checkout counter, and a line of waiting customers backed up to the door is unacceptable. Plus there were people waiting to get passports who had a previous scheduled appointment. Those people had to wait for an available employee.

Lines way too long. Still waiting for my postal address to be set up - going on six weeks - and I go in and ask at least three times a week and there is always a different excuse as to why it can’t be done yet. Would give negative stars if I could.

Try to avoid for passport needs if you can! I went with at least 5 different forms of ID (all accepted on the government website that tells you how to get a passport) and they kept telling me my application would be rejected because I didn’t have a solid copy of my ID (just a temporary paper copy with a picture, on the website it says it’s accepted with another form of ID which I had). They kept saying over and over I’d be “wasting my money but I could send it if I wanted, but it would be a waste”. They never ever let me speak to the official passport person it was all hearsay from another employee, and they reprimanded me in front of other customers like a child instead of taking me back and actually looking at what documents I had. They made me feel so crazy and dumb that I called the people who approve passports and they told me I had all the right documents, and I also called the library who told me I had all the right documents. I don’t think they know what they’re doing when it comes to passports, do not go if you’re hoping to use anything other than a drivers license because they’ll tell you you’re wrong (even though they’re wrong). I recommend making an appointment at the library because they seem to know what they’re doing and what the rules are

Three missing packages in one week, two lies about attempting to deliver certified mail while I “wasn’t home” (I was home and know no delivery was attempted) and I’m unable to get anybody on the phone to even ask if I can pick up my missing mail myself. I’ve never dealt with a more incompetent post office.

Worst post office ever I’ve ordered stuff from California and it’s gotten to me in Michigan in like 3-4 days but I guess West Virginias post office has got a little problem it doesn’t take 10 days to give me a package and I still haven’t even gotten it yet it’s really not that hard

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst USPS I’ve ever been to. The store opens at 0830. When I walked in at that time I was the fifth person in line. They were still closed. I stood there for over 10 minutes without anyone opening. At this time there was at least 10 people on line. You could hear all the employees talking in the back. I ended up leaving because I couldn’t wait any longer. This is completely ridiculous to not open on time especially when they knew there was a line of people. My business will go to fedex and UPS from here on out.

I love how me and my buddy send packages to each other the exact same day and he has received his today but mine as always is delayed with no information and the package I sent my buddy is heavier then the one he sent me and we both got priority. Tell me how that's possible..i don't feel like my package was treated as priority usps is the worst and they need to either update their system or take it down entirely you don't update as much as you should and you leave people to wonder if they are getting the mail on time or not at all! Please get it together and stop being lazy! Mind you the distance is 4 hours driving....how is it you can get junk mail out on time but not packages
