Oil Change in Martinsburg, WV

“I’ve been to Martinsburg service center twice and both times have been just such a positive experience.

Firstly can we talk about the car service?!? I mean not having to pay for an additional expense or miss a day of work sitting around! Then when it was done they came and got me so I didn’t have to add and extra step to my evening with my family! Truly a blessing.

The rest of the experience was just as good went for a complete and total work up on everything. They were fair, quick, considerate and notified me regarding the one minor thing they found (a bulb out). Just really great service all around!

Then a few months later I started hearing a noise from my car it was loud and I was nervous to drive it. I call late one evening and Nick got someone to check it out ASAP (honestly he tried to get me there that night but I live across town so didn’t work but still). Once they figure out what it was they told me it could be a day before he could get me in but if they had any free time they would work me in. My car was done that evening. Again another day where that ride service came in handy,

Peterson's stands behind their work.

At least 5 individuals worked together to make sure I was taken care of, on a late Sunday evening, as everyone was home, or going home.

One was even not part of your franchise, but was able to contact you, and handle my frantic calls while already working at capacity.

Matt came back to the shop from home with genuine concern, and insisted on making things right.

Matt walked me - and his apprentice - through what happened. Both of us gained appreciation for the small things that so much rides on.

Mike, all of your team deserve recognition for this.

I did not see an error.

I saw a team working together, on short notice, at a late hour - to make things right.

For one customer.

Further, Matt made this a teaching moment for the other employee, who's name forgive me, I did not get. - Seeing another learn, and participating, made this worth it.

With the consolidation of national chains, coupled with the concurrent national indifference to customer service, we don't see this happening much anymore.

This is why I support local, small businesses, and I thank Peterson's fine conduct in this matter, and confirming this belief.

“Valvoline is a very good place to get my oil change done. The only issue is it has just two bays so sometimes if there are more people there for service it can prolong your wait. They are efficient and friendly every time and they treat you with respect. They don't try to force services on you, even though they recommend it. If you say No, they just move on to the next. I would definitely recommend this location to others.”
