“Lowes is a very good home improvement store. This review is not about Lowes, but instead about the Valspar paint that is sold there. I purchased a gallon of Valspar Reserve, from Lowes, in a red tint to cover a white wall. Valspar guarantees it will cover in one coat. I used standard painting practices of trim work first and rolling afterward, that produced an uneven result with every previous column of paint showing through the newest column. Since the guarantee is right on the can, I took the unused portion back and am expecting to hear from a Valspar representative in the next day to get a refund. I took photos of the finished work to prove the coverage is not what is stated on the can. Lowes people were very helpful.”
“There was a mix up with my last order and everything I ordered was not available for pick up. But home Depot has already reached out and corrected the mistake. Very professional. That's why I love this store so. It's not that they made a mistake, everybody makes mistakes, it's what they do to correct it that matters. Bravo!”
