I rather give the little guys my money but I'm sorry I won't spend money at a store where you stop what your doing to follow me around the store every isle I got to and watch me thinking I'm going to rob you blind. Yes I even saw you at the end of the isle every time I touched something different you peaked around the corner or the other isle you went to the one next isle and moved boxes to peak thru the rack. If anyone could put a husqvarna 450 chainsaw with a 20 inch bar in their pants and walk out the door you would go out of business... sorry I'll shop elsewhere I get every store has cameras and watch people but it's worse when they can physically see you following them and honestly that's you profiling people by how they look or dress

I like the small, hometown hardware store feel. Only store in town that stocks Kalmbach chicken feed and I buy 2 bags a week. I came in today to buy a few screws for a small project I was working on and the clerk wouldn't do the transaction by debt card (didn't have any cash on me). He said I'd have to by something else. I guess I'll go to the big box store and find someplace else to get my feed.

If you're tired of super large hardware stores give this place a try. Prices are in line with the big stores. You can order from do it best hardware site and have you're order delivered to this store.
