So I travel regularly going to hundreds of hotels a year. This one is the first one I've stayed at that the breakfast gave me food poisoning. Sept 20th I've slept for 2 hours after eating 5 pieces of bacon and an omelet.

*Diamond member*Staff is always friendly, even if it’s a mad house lol. Anything I need is promptly provided without a hassle. My check in is always smooth. Checking out is never a rushed with a housekeeper standing at the door like other choice hotel stays. Late checkout is normally available. My stay here honestly is like staying at the Marriott or Hampton inn. So for the price I pay I will always make comfort inn sickens center my first choice!!!Rooms: Comfort inn @ Martinsburg WV is the best choice hotel around! The rooms are furnished with greater quality! Beds are super comfortable. Along with higher quality fresh white linens. Nothing like any of the other chain of hotels I’ve stayed in.Food & drinks: Fresh sweet tea & Lemon water conveniently @ the elevator. Vending machine for beverages on every floor. Breakfast is made fresh every morning.Noteworthy details: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️24hr /Staff is super nice and helpful. Always available to assist in anyway. Rooms are clean top to bottom! Housekeeping definitely does a terrific job.Hands down my favorite!

This hotel was decent. I immediately checked the beds for bed bugs as I always do and found little black specs on the sheets. As I began to panic I leaned a little closer to find it was dirt. All over the sheet? How does dirt get between the sheets? Really made me question how clean this room was if they did a half job changing the sheets on the bed. The other bed was fine, no dirt or bugs! The other downside was that the tv wasn't working so I sat in silence. The room was more spacious than other Comfort Inns I had been too. The breakfast was ok. It was free so there you go! Biscuits were like rocks and nasty OJ. The pool outside did look nice and inviting.

Our rooms were very clean. They provide a warm breakfast. Scrambled eggs were really good. Close to I-81. Really can't say anything bad about this hotel.

The staff at this place are incredible. My daughter got stranded overnight due to car breakdown. The kind tow truck driver dropped her off at this place as she was going to need to stay overnight. The people were so kind to her. She was scared being alone. I can't say enough about how wonderful they treated her. These employees are a real asset to your business and deserve recognition for outstanding customer service. They deserve a promotion and a raise! Thank you so much. She couldn't have found a better place to stay.

The only negatives I could give were that the shower head dripped a little and the batteries in the tv remote died! Easy check in. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast with hot and cold options. Clean common areas and lobby. Room was very clean. Bed and pillow were clean and comfortable. Good location-- right off I-81, near gas station and restaurant options, not near and shady establishments. Parking lot seemed save and well lit. Price was very reasonable.

3/18/23 Upshot: okay place to put down your head and sleep, breakfast relatively good. Would like to give 3 1/2 stars.Good: bed and five small pillows were comfortable, breakfast was typical for 2 star hotel - more below. Bathroom was up-to-date and clean., with a quirk - coffee maker was in the bathroom. Check-in was quick and courteous.Bad: this place is beige and brown all over, even the walls.. I felt like I’d been transported back to the 1980s, and not in a good way.. The carpet is worn and the fabric backs of the dining room chairs are visibly very dirty.Breakfast: hard-boiled eggs, danishes, bread and bagels. Yogurt cups.oatmeal but no bowls and no place for bowls. Guess you could eat it in a cup. Sorry, didn’t check out the warming pans. Cheerios were gluten free

A wonderful experience, hotel is a bit dated but very well maintained and clean. The staff is incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly-always a “hello” or “good morning.” Kim and Skyler are great! I had decided to extend my stay an additional night and Skyler took care of it the night before so that I had a seamless experience. If you find yourself passing through Martinsburg, do yourselves a favor and stay here!

The staff at Comfort Inn were very kind. I didn't get her name, but there was a lady with red curly hair and glasses who checked me in. She made me feel comfortable and was kind. The hotel was dated, and I didn't like how small the one elevator was, but it was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were a lot of men there who have probably contracting jobs or work on the railroad, but I didn't really feel unsafe as a single female traveler. I liked the bar/restaurant across the street, too.
