Call before you go. My husband and I went to set up a joint account and at 11:30 I guess the only person out of the 6 ladies inside who could set up and account was going on her hour lunch. Told us to come back after we had already stood in a brief line inside and she was “short staffed” and we have to come back or wait 1 hour.

I'd recommend this over other banks or loan institutions. Local & friendly without the extra banking fees. Terms do apply with all protected institutions.

I discovered three fraudulent charges on my debit card and reported them the same day they occurred. It's been two weeks and I've heard nothing from the 167th FCU. No new debit card and the fraudulent charges are still there. Absolutely unacceptable. I've since opened a checking account elsewhere and changed my direct deposit to the new account. As soon as the 167th does something about these fraudulent charges I will close the account and never do business with these people again. Update: I received a rather condescending voice mail today from Daisy. She said my card was ready on the 16th. (Why no one told me I don't know). She also said nothing was done about the fraudulent charges because I haven't come in person to fill out a piece of paper. Good Lord! What is this the 1990s?! They won't protect you from fraudulent charges unless you visit in person and fill out a piece of paper! When I hear "167th TFCU" I think of words like Archaic, obsolete, 30 years behind, condescending, smart-ass, and let's go somewhere else.

I am sick to death of this place constantly filing repeat purchases and things as simple as getting phone service as fraud. I can't even order something online if the website's HQ is based in a different state despite explicitly limiting fraud checks to out of country.

I Was in the Martinsburg office this past week to set up an account and apply for a credit card to build my credit. I had soo many questions and the amazing service from the young lady named Catherine was wonderful. She was very patient with me and gave me all the answers I asked and if she didn’t know the answer she called to get the answer while I was there. I left there feeling secure and happy with all the help I received. I will highly recommend this to anyone that doesn’t understand or is wanting a great bank to work with especially with ms. Catherine.

Tried on 3 different occasions to open an account with this bank. They were rude, condescending and clearly dont understand what customer service is. There's only one person that can open accounts and she is clearly a miserable person who paints a smile on while talking down to you. They wanted something new everytime I went in EVEN THOUGH I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT OPENING AN ACCOUNT before coming in. Do NOT waste your time!!!

If you are a busy person and actually have a life to live and have to go to the bank on a Saturday don't use this bank. They don't even have a lobby open which is very inconvenient plus they shut off their phones so they won't even talk to anyone. One of the laziest most useless banks I've ever used.

Great service from a bank I didn't know I could bank with. I always thought it was a military only bank but that's not so! So thankful they're now my bank.

Takes this bank forever to process transactions, and even if your job pays you early they hold check untill posted date on check transaction update on phone app very slow.

I love using this bank. But, for someone that works 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri it is impossible for me to ever make a deposit!
