“I called ACT Auto Repair in the morning to ask about getting a car inspected before buying. Linda was incredibly helpful and said to come in anytime except during lunch. I brought the car over, and Chad conducted the inspection.
Chad was thorough and honest, walking me through the key issues I needed to know about. He pointed out that the front brake pads and rotors needed replacement, along with two back tires.
Initially, I was unsure about buying the car, but after Chad reassured me it was a solid choice despite these issues, I felt more at ease. Unfortunately, the small local dealership agreed to fix only one of the problems and didn’t even acknowledge the other. As a result, I decided against purchasing the car.
However, when I'm ready to buy in the future, I’ll definitely return to ACT for assistance. It's hard to find an honest and trustworthy auto shop these days, but I’ve found one! Thank you, Chad and Linda, for all your help—it's greatly appreciated!”
“What can I say, called Tuesday afternoon and spoke with Mike, he had me an appointment for Wednesday morning! Arrived and was promptly greeted! They pulled my truck in and got right to it! I explained what I had going and Mike actually listened! He told me they would make sure they got it perfect before I left and they did! My truck drives better now than when it was brand new! “Undoubtedly the greatest service we have had with our vehicle when we really needed help. Engine light came on after our 6 hour trek from NY to drop of our son to WVU. This was the only place able to check over the vehicle before needing to leave today! After doing a diagnostic test we were told we could drive it home safely and that we would have time to repair the fuel efficiency problem. Friendly, understanding and super efficient!! “Best body shop around. Very fair and excellent work. Bob had fixed several vehicles for my family over the years. It's been a bad year for deer hits either in the front or the side. He made my Durango better than it was after the latest deer. He is normally booked out a ways, but any great shop will be booked out.”
“Good mechanics are hard to find. Great mechanics are almost impossible to locate. Yoney is the latter of the two. Intelligent, honest and ridiculously skilled. I honestly hope this review doesn't help book him up beyond even his work ethics capacity.”

“My car was hit in a hit and run - I thought it was fine and I was just being cautious by taking it in to get checked for frame damage at the recommendation of a friend. Well, good thing I did. Josh and his team at Donnie’s were kind enough to look over the car for no charge and were able to let me know that it was NOT in fact safe to drive as I had thought, there was extensive pillar damage and the car ended up being a total loss. They worked with my nightmare of an insurance company and guided me through the whole process step by step, making it as quick and painless as humanly possible. The whole shop is full of amazing and kind people, but Josh especially is full of knowledge and knows the ins and outs of the insurance part of the business extremely well. Hope I don’t have an experience that puts me in this situation again, but if I do I know exactly where I’ll be taking my car. Cannot say enough good things about them.”

“I was in my most precarious vehicle situation in the whole 44 years of my life today on the interstate with my two children and they showed up to help us fast (and fearless) and I would absolutely recommend them. If they were that good where I was, I know they would be excellent in any other situation.”
“I went to the local Chevy dealer in Morgantown about my truck having a leak from the gas tank. I explained to them i was from out of state, as I was dropping my child off at WVU and I was leaving the next day. The dealer said they might be able to look at the truck but can guarantee they would have the part or could even fix the problem. I asked them if there was a local shop they knew about and they said Westover Tire.
Well I'm glad I went to them. They fixed my truck in under 2 1/2 hrs. They put in a new fuel sending unit and obviously no more leak. Just want to thank them for helping me out. And when my child returns here for school next year with a vehicle, he'll be taking to Westover Tire if any problems come up. Thanks again!”
