With how much I send here I should know better then buying anything from this game stop or the one in beckley I had bought a ps5 control for a Christmas present for my boyfriend and we go and plug it up last night and it don’t work I try all day to get someone to answer the phone there and finally after 6 hours of calling I get told because we didn’t get a warranty on the control they can’t do anything about it and they would only offer 10$ in trad value and the control is 60$ so I’m out of 60$ I will never spend another penny at a game stop again if I could give it no stars I would

Purchased a Nintendo switch on 6-11-23 and found it to be defective as we got home. Went back out on 6-12-23 and spoke with a person named Brandon that claimed to be manager. He stated that since we didn’t purchase a warranty and it was open that he would not replace it. We ended up going to the beckley location and exchanged no issue and reported the manager of MacArthur location to corporate. It also stated right on the receipt that it was covered yet he still refused to perform the exchange

Little short pudgy fellow in 30s with beard was straight rude and the girl answered questions with minimum information. Was really no help at all. Now I’ve been calling for hours with no one answering. Lazy I suppose probably why they’re into gaming. Lol?
