This place sucks if you get admitted you better not be a smoker they won’t let you off ur floor to smoke a cigarette and I have been to cabell Huntington they will let you smoke a cigarette

I was in the ER thinking I was having a they didn’t come in two hours later when they did come in, he looked at me and they say out there you act like you’re dying like he was making fun of me The doctors name was HAygl I told him it was like my life stroke and I said well everything is good but we see I said it done that before I had to go home around 9 o’clock that morning and when I told him he said, you here now aren’t you I said yeah but next time I might not be I’m two hours away most time he said, but you are now Pulling out rude and I don’t consider him a doctor I wouldn’t take my dog to much been dead for about five years

Worst ever. Only saw the nurse and then waited almost 2 hours finally left without my daughter being treated. The nurse only asks her height and weight, took her bp and temp, then asked why we were there. Didn't ask her if she was in pain or anything serious. Didn't look at the wound or feel of it.

I just had surgery at LRMC and could not have had a better experience! Everyone treated me so great from registration, the nurse who got me ready for surgery, the staff who took care of me in surgery and finally the recovery nurse who got me ready for home. I also received a phone call from the staff to check on me the day after surgery!

I would rate them negative 1000 if I could!!! I took my husband to Logan Regional on July 26, 2024 around 10:30 pm with severe stomach pain, mind you he never complains about pain and for him to say I have to go it has to be severe! When we arrived that night it took almost 2 1/2 hours before a doctor ever seen him then ask about pain and he ordered a ct scan of his belly. He had severe appendicitis and said he needed surgery. Doctor then called surgeon and was told surgery would be first thing in the morning was placed in a room around 3 in the morning, delay after delay began about his surgery. Around 2:30 in the afternoon nurse came in and said good news I talked to OR and anesthesiologist is pulling his meds for the surgery. Ok finally it’s going to happen, but 30 minutes later the surgeon came in and said we can’t do the surgery because the OR’s humidity too high because the air conditioning was out and had been out since Friday and they knew it and kept us there for over 17 hours letting him wait for a surgery they knew was never gonna happen. Needless to say they had to transfer us out and we requested CAMC Memorial who took us and within 45 minutes my husband was in the OR and had an emergency appendectomy, in which, his appendix had already ruptured and bowel was leaking all that poison into his body and 15 (FIFTEEN) days later we finally are going home! I blame them for holding us 17 miserable, painful, excruciating hours with poison spewing into his guts which cost us an extensive painful stay which could have killed him! He ended up with an ileus, then he got an abscess which required a drain which is also a very painful recovery. He also developed a small bowel obstruction which was caused from the abscess pressing on his small intestines. He had to have a NG tube shoved down his nose twice and had to go without any food whatsoever for 12 of his hospital days and intravenous strong antibiotics around the clock every 8 hours for the entirety of his stay and hopefully we will finally be going home tomorrow after 15 days! We will NEVER EVER go to LOGAN REGIONAL AGAIN!!!

I would give Logan regional zero stars but that’s not an option. I know several people they’ve killed because they act like getting someone out of the ER is such a rush that they overlook symptoms and they don’t treat the patient. I was seen at Logan regional three days ago because I had severe pain in the heel of my foot with two holes that appeared to be a bite. My wife found a brown recluse spider in the floorboard of our car, I went to Logan because I was afraid I had been bitten, but the doctor was sure that I was just having some sort of diabetic ulcer and completely ignored me telling him about the spider. Doctor said he would do some X-rays, did you see if there was anything foreign in the holes but he was sure it was just an ulcer. I have the x-rays done and was waiting for the doctor to come in with the results and next thing I know he never came but a nurse came with my discharge papers saying all it’s nothing serious. He just need to go see a foot doctor! Well, the next day I was In so much pain I couldn’t walk. I literally urinated myself because I was trying to get up to go to the restroom and could not but any weight on my leg. And was transported to Boone Memorial. by ambulance where they actually treated the symptoms and disclosed that it was in fact, a spider bite, and that I was highly infected to the point where I was borderline septic and was told if I would’ve waited much longer, there was a very high probability that I could have lost my foot and my life because I would’ve became septic ! I would call Logan regional ab Band-Aid station, but that would be an insult to Band-Aid station! If you are needing to go to the hospital and actually want to be treated properly and you feel you can make it I would highly recommend going to Boone or even Charleston! I wouldn’t take a wounded sewer rat to Logan

This place thinks everyone that comes there is looking for pain med there not some ppl just need to be check out and not treaded like there drug seeking they put you in the lobby for hours and I had fleas jumping on me someone in that lobby pack therm in so I went to another hospital and got better treatment. Didn’t get treaded like I was seeking pain meds got check out and sent on my way so I hope if the doctor and nursing staff family has to go to another hospital they get treaded like they treat others like there pain med seeking

Took my 1 year old here two days ago she was running a fever and was refusing to eat or drink and had been many many hours with out a wet diaper took them almost 5 hours to tell me she had rhinovirus and on top of the fact I had to ask the DOCTOR to give her fluids!!!!! It took 3 nurses who where not the nicest to hold her down and then blew 2 veins and then I told them there not sticking her no more! I then got the nastiest looks from the nurses witch sent me over the edge as a mom I want my child to feel better I don’t need a nurse giving me snarky looks, then the doctor came in and witch I reported the nurse and was discharged with my child still being dehydrated, never again will I got to Logan it’s just plan awful the nurses need a reality check and need to understand we wouldn’t be at the HOSPITAL IF WE DIDN'T NEED TO BE!!!!!

I had to take my husband to the ER last night. He hurt himself and had a pretty deep cut that ended up needing stitches. He was immediately taken to triage (Joe was the best, all night - he checked on us and was just really great. The world needs more nurses like him). We were quickly put in a room and the PA that came to stitch him up was also great, thorough, and friendly. We were in and out pretty quick - we went into it thinking it was going to be a long night because of the holiday weekend but we had the best care.
