Was very clean, staff was nice and courteous. They even have Dove shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion. Nice touch compared to other hotels that provide the most generic .

We had an enjoyable stay. Breakfast bar is great. We were disappointed that the pool was closed.

So while traveling on a vacay getaway where we did some hiking, sight seeing, and a lot of driving we were sore and road weary, so my wifey decided we needed a place to relax with a pool and hot tub. She Googled "hotels with pool and hot tub near us" and this hotel was the top listing. #1 listing! After arriving and checking in we found out that their pool and hot tub have been closed for years! When I asked the hotel staff member he acted like it was our fault for not checking their website, so I checked their website. After showing their pool and hot tub as "amenities" at the top of their page, at the very very bottom of the page it says "pool closed." So it's advertised and then in small text it's like "SIKE!" As a business owner I know you can change things on Google as well. Then we were bombarded by printed threatening flyers throughout the hotel, in the elevators, and in the room about being charged for smoking or, (a first for us as regular travelers), a threat that if you don't brush your shoes off and they find any dirt or mud in the room or hallways you'll also be charged gigantic fees at their discretion. With all their fondness of printing flyers you'd think they'd print a channel guide, but no they don't. The room was clean except for a very gross looking stain on the ottoman. The breakfast was gross with very subpar offerings. The pancake maker was out of batter and the lady working acted like it was a bother to remedy the situation. None of the staff seemed friendly whatsoever. Finally, we ended up paying $30 more for the 1 night at this "Holiday Inn" than we paid at the MUCH MUCH nicer, cleaner, and vastly superior Hilton (Charlottesville) at the next stop of our travels. The Hilton was actually CHEAPER! $30 cheaper!! Cleaner, better breakfast, much much friendlier and helpful staff, with a pool and hot tub that actually worked as advertised! Not to mention that the room was more spacious with everything you could ever want in a hotel room (they had a dishwasher in our room!) All for a much lower and more reasonable cost without any threatening flyers! I would not recommend this hotel (or Holiday Inn in general anymore as it seems they are all becoming subpar compared to other hotels we have visited) to anyone. This one in particular seemed more worried with threatening us with extreme charges, (at their discretion - luckily we weren't charged as we didn't do anything wrong, but the threats remained at every turn in the hotel), than they are with offering a good experience for paying customers. Lastly if you're not going to fix the pool and hot tub take them off of your website and edit Google so you're not deceiving people, unless that is your intention.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms and great location. Pool was closed during stay do but that’s not a deal breaker. Breakfast options were very good. Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion provided. They also sell trail pass at the front desk. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I stay here a lot for work. The rooms are always clean and comfy. I've stayed in a couple rooms that didn't have phones or alarm clock which wasn't a huge deal since I take an alarm clock with me. The staff is extremely welcoming, helpful and nice. They have a great breakfast buffet with plenty of options. It would be nice if they would get the pool and hot tub fixed area fixed though. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here.

Surprisingly great place to stay!! I say surprisingly because when I checked in I thought this is going to be a nightmare, when I had to call to check in, and the manager came said she was washing things for the hotel. That was way early to determine how my stay would go. I give FIVE stars for the amazing continental breakfast being maintained by an older gentleman who takes his job serious, it delicious, clean and maintained well. The room was very good size, well maintained, and had everything I needed for my stay, including a fridge/freezer and microwave. I'm a big fan of the maintained soaps, conditioners, shampoo and lotion. If you're in this location and can get a reservation/room I would recommend you stay here!!

We originally chose this hotel because it showed a pool online. The pool was not open and hasnt been for a year it seems. We stayed here 2 nights due to my transmission breaking down on my van. I hit a bump on the interestate outside of Logan driving to this hotel.First off, they charged us 20 dollars more then the recommend price online the first night. I asked them for a late checkout so I could figure out what to do with my van issue. They offered me 30 minutes. I asked for more time and they gave us an hour. All the auto motive repair places were closed so we were forced to stay another night. This time I made sure to get the online advertised price which they gave me. But they told me they couldn't fix the price from the previous night. I asked for a late check out so I could try to get my car fixed and give my family a place to wait. The person in charge said that they gave us a late one the previous day and they couldn't do it that day. There wasn't but maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. We saw the same people waking through the building all the time. The place wasn't packed. The Holiday Inn in CHARLESTON, which we stayed in the previous week, automatically gave us a late check out for being members. This place has a slogan that their the friendliest people but I think they missed the mark. They could have allowed us a little more time so I could continue to call various repair company's. Instead, they kicked us out. I ended up driving around to repair shops without my 4th gear working and not able to drive over 40 miles an hour.It takes time for these auto shops to find parts in this small town. This hotel didn't give us that time. I think they could have been a little more understanding. I would recommend another hotel. The rates should probably be cheaper since they don't have a working pool but advertise one.

Logan is a fairly small, mountain town so I was surprised I could find a hotel for business trips. The staff were very welcoming, down to earth and accommodating. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable (if you like a firmer bed, you'll like these). Nice rooms, decent toiletries, clean. I did find there to be quite a bit of noise (thin walls, thin floors?) but I sleep in earplugs. If you are a light sleeper, I would ask for a higher floor. Breakfast is sufficient with a lot of options and is included. I would stay here again.
