My company recently relocated me & my family from IL to Houston TX. Although we have moved many times in the past 20 years, this is the first for us using a full service moving company. We were a little nervous, not just relocating across county, but unsure how everything would go using a full service moving company. Let me tell you, we will never not use Walker Transfer - Powell, LCC, regardless of where me move. They handle everything, and I mean everything!! The crews were simply amazing to work with, Bonnie our main moving coordinator had impeccable communication which removed all of our stress. Doug & DJ who own and operate the truck and hire the crews to assist at pick up and drop off, where also just as amazing to work with, they truly cared for our items. By the time our items were delivered (which only took a couple of days) it honestly felt like we had made new friends.
I'll share a picture with you to show the true care they have. This picture is of real flowers that my mom had dried from flowers from our backyard growing up - these flowers have to be at least 25-30 years old. My mom has since passed, and I have been moving these with me everywhere we go. Normally I would transport in my own car to ensure the safety of it's arrival, however moving cross county, limited that ability. Out of all of our items, this is what I was the most worried about. As you can see in the picture, it arrived in Perfect Condition!! I had happy tears when taking it out of the box.

Movers worked efficiently and delivered everything safely. Even though there was scheduling issues, the team did a great job of resolving the issues and got me moved in time. Would recommend for future moves.

Wow! They are well-organized and hard-working moving company and my relocation coordinator Bonnie was amazing!
I moved from MO to TN and that was the smoothest move ever! I moved out from 1 bed 700 sq ft apartment. I highly recommend their services. Some details below:
First, they do 30 min intro call. Then someone with moving expertise video call and see the place with furniture etc. in it. Then if they decide to put things - that can't be disassembled - in crates, or fragile like mirrors, giant wall art.. their crate team makes custom crates for each item. They securely crate them and leave in your place - ready to be shipped. Then moving crew comes and wrap everything up (pun intended). They keep clothes with their hangers so they are ready to be hung at their new location. That is impressive!
Then they put everything in storage until the new moving in date. So no need to rush. They shipped my things in 2 days after moving out. They brought everything to my new apartment on top floor - no elevator :/, they reassembled my furniture.. they also came back to pick up moving cardboard boxes and paper fillings! :O
Only thing I had to do was packing my own valuables and taking them with me.

Tim and his crew came and packed all of our son's things in his apartment to move him for a new job. They did a fantastic job. All the guys were courteous and respectful. A mat was put down when they got there to keep the floors as clean as possible. Everything was very carefully packed and wrapped. They took the time to explain things to us and make certain everything was the way we wanted it for our son. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone who is planning to move.

My move with Walker transfer-Powell is by far THE BEST move I have experienced in my 73 years.
Jay and his associate were prompt, professional and personable. Their methodology in loading and unloading made it easier when the items were placed as noted on the boxes which in turn made my unpacking more efficient.
They took care not to damage walls in both the old and new residences, placed runners so that no wet tracking was done during the rainy day.
Should you be looking for a professional moving company at a fair cost I highly recommend Walker Transfer-Powell, ask for Jay.

I recently moved from Alaska. The individuals involved were truly amazing. From those packing and picking up my stuff to the two men who delivered it safely to me. They not only asked, and listened to me as to where to put things as they unloaded, they actually helped unpack some of my items and put them back together. Exceptional Customer Service!!! David Puskas and his Team did Amazing with our move!! They went above and beyond, showing up early and packing everything with super care!! They were Professional, Friendly and Efficient!! We moved from Indiana to Texas and they were able to get our things sooner than anyone would give us!! Everything arrived in Mint condition!! Mitch and Angelina are a dream team. They were great people and did their jobs so unbelievably well. I appreciate that they helped us move, but what I appreciate even more is the care they took in making sure items were secure and taken care of. In the unloading process we asked that they keep a lot of boxes packed in the basement and garage, but they took it to the next level on their organization and expert Tetris skills so that both areas were usable and it has been so easy to find specific item that we need. I will forever be grateful the them and how easy and fun they made the moving process especially being 7 months pregnant. Thank you to you both again!

My husband and I completed our seventh company move. This move was by far the smoothest from start to finish. This time around we experienced virtual whole house inventory session to prepare for the move. Scheduling was well organized and accommodating our busy travel schedule. The best part was our driver Benito and the packing crews hired on both ends were efficient, professional and respectful of our belongings. I would hire Powell Transfer moving again and certainly request Benito. Thank you for making this move seamless. Pack, load deliver and put together beds etc in two days.
