“Worked here for a short time. Probably would have never left ifwages weren't and aren't still extremely low, especially compared to the surrounding areas. Most of the employees r friendly with an exception ...cant speak for new employees but they go above and beyond to keep shelves stocked and the store swept and looking presentable. Friendly, courteous and a great in n out. If u need a lil extra cash in ur pocket this is a job for u where u can get along with ur coworkers and enjoy ur days”

“Big Lots is a great place to shop, many items are discount and everything in the store is new. There is a grocery section, furniture, bedding and housewares, lawn and garden, appliances ( small), seasonal items, toys and games and pet department. Whatever you can't find at the major chain stores...its sure to be at Big Lots!! Plenty of free parking and lots if carts.”

“This store is defiantly less cluttered and cleaner than the bunker hill or north Queen stores. But it still has its days. Thus may be a corporate problem I don't think there are enough staffers it seems there always short handed and workers are stocking shelves between customers. Over all the Pikeside plaza Dollar General store is my favorite out of the ones in my area.”

“Great place to exercise, even for Seniors like myself. Senior equipment is in the front and other equipment for the younger crowd is in the back. There are classes and and other things going on all the time. If you have Silver Sneakers like I do, you can go to any One Fitness gym anywhere in the country for free. The staff is great, helpful and always up for a conversation!!”

“Amazing!! We don’t have a good dollar general near us so we traveled to this one. We walked in and it’s very big!! It was all stocked up and had a variety of stuff, which surprised us cause other dollar generals we have visited are small, barely stocked, and don’t have a lot of stuff.The employees were very nice! The lady doing cash register on 10/15/2023 at 5:00 pm was very kind and kept good small talk with us. I always like it when employees have conversations with us and actually seem to care!”
