Shady. Truck wrecked front end impact between two trees. 1st attempt to return vehicle to me, had scratches on the grill which they charged insurance to "replace" one of two tow hitches replaced when stated they did both. None of the mud guards were replaced when charged for. Scratches on both sides of the vehicle still. Z71 logo on the grill looked like a 4 year old glued it on. I did not accept the vehicle, almost a month later it was ready. They fixed the paint and made it look better. Swapped the driver side door handle with a scratch to the rear instead of replacing. And some kind of over spray was on my windshield, just scrapped it off with a razor. Oh and the silverado lettering on the driver door isn't level, it's a half inch off from start to finish.
If you have an attention to detail steer clear of this shop, because they sure dont.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would, but I had to select a star to be able to leave a review. I was in a multi car collision in early August 2023, damaging my front and rear bumpers, side front fender and a few other dents and dings. My insurance company provided me a list of 'preferred shops' to fix my car. We decided to support a local smaller business verses using a large car dealership. We chose Greg Chandler Frame and Body in St.Albans. We dropped my car off approx August 22, 2023. Roughly 2 weeks later we were contacted that my car was ready for pick up. When we got there it was obvious the bumpers did not fit --the new front bumper was either the wrong bumper for my car, damaged, or missing parts, when you would touch it on one side the other side would pop out. The rear bumper was visibly dented underneath. The part was damaged but they chose to use it anyways. The rear bumper also did not appear to be securely attached to the car. The lines from the hood and trunk were not lining up with the bumpers or fenders. I was horrified!! It was amateurish at best. We refused the car. We even commented it looked like the car was taken to a vocational school on the 1st day of body shop class and the students were told to show what they could do. When management came out and inspected the car they said the same thing... it was a terrible job BUT it was the insurances fault because they make the body shop use after market parts. My car should have NEVER left the garage without being quality checked... it would have failed, yet it rolled out their garage doors as ready for the customer. We were advised that new parts would need to be ordered and the whole job started over again!! My front bumper came in approximately a week and 1/2 later but when attaching it, clips were discovered broken that held in a front head light, so that had to be ordered. The rear bumper finally came in after being on back order and delays... according to the shop it looked like it had been drug across the pavement. So another bumper was ordered!!! On October 26, I was called that the car was ready and in 'excellent' shape. On October 31 my husband went to retrieve my car. Yes, the bumpers fit now, yes "visibly" the repairs are "acceptable", however the car would not start!!! The body shop determined the battery was dead and they used a jump box to start the car and it idled a good while as he went inside to do paperwork. Upon trying to drive off the lot, the car would shift into gear but would not move!!! Management was called back outside and said the battery was so dead that the car won't move and I needed a new battery. They did replace the battery and the car moved. However while leaving the lot, a friend who was with my husband realized a back light was out!! Management was called back outside to the car -- at this point all of the lights and signals were checked. Sure enough a front light was out as well!!! How does this kind of stuff happen!!! The lights were fixed and my husband brought the car home. What a terrible experience!! I realize not all of the issues were the body shops fault, BUT if a quality checklist and inspection would have been done on the job they were paid to do, this could have "possibly" been done correctly the 1st time. It seems simple to me. Check the work BEFORE the car rolls out the garage doors and before you contact the customer that the vehicle is ready!!! If you choose to use this business, I suggest you go over your vehicle very well.

Thought I should leave a review since that's how I based my decision choosing Chandlers. They were a direct repair shop for my insurance but wow it was bad. Went to pickup vehicle after over a month and bumper was different color than rest of the vehicle. Tail light still broken and no badges on car. I left it telling them needing it corrected. They had a few more weeks then called and asked if I broke backup camera. It was REARENDED! They tried not to fix that. After all this went to pickup again and all looked okay but no badges on car. I put them on myself after all that. Would not recommend. No stars.

Everyone here was super nice and helpful! We pulled in with a SUPER flat tire at 5:01 and they were supposed to close at 5. Although they didn’t have any tires to buy because they do body work, they were super helpful in getting the donut on my car and directing us where to go. I’m very thankful they were there and so kind when we needed help!

After hitting a deer insurance sent me to saint albans location. My poor review is due to them joyriding in my 2016 wrx. They racked up 300 miles on my car when it should have been sitting in the shop getting repaired. Be sure to check milage after getting any work done. This is grounds for a lawsuit if i had noticed before leaving their shop!Service: Body & Trim

Was going to have some work done, but the crappy reviews really got my attention. Helps to do some quick research -- ethics and fairness don't often go hand-in-hand with auto repair businesses.

They told my insurance that the car was drivable and charged parking fees for months while telling me that the car was undrivable, and that they couldn't allow me to have it back because it was undrivable, then when the parking fees became greater than the blue book value of the car, they declared it a total loss to the insurance, and demanded I sign over the title in exchange for them waiving the parking fees, so they just took my car with minimum damage so they could fix it up and sell it to someone else

I had a new hood put on my 68 vette and realized the labor shortage is affecting everyone. They try to get insurance claims back ASAP as they should. But even though I got a little impatient, they did an awesome job !

Took car in for body work which was great. The customer service was not, Joe was very rude and snarky. He was wrong on dates car was dropped off and completely and the detail they did for an additional charge was horrible.
