This hospital is the worse place i've ever been to, granted most of the nurses have great bedside manner. but there is no communication whatsoever, I was being told multiple different things by multiple different people, I never saw a doctor, even after being admitted into a room, all they were doing more tests, and more test with different explanations to why I was taking these tests. It's very sad. They have great staff, but they don't know how to handle anything. I ended up leaving &' signing myself out because it was just too much to handle. save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Mountain health now has a monopoly here. Inferior service and they just want to keep you in their care for maximum billing. Waiting on every test possible results after 4 days in their care for migraine headaches!!!!

Holding a patient hostage who tested NEGATIVE for covid. Refused to do a bacteria pneumonia test for several days. Proceeds to treat him like a COVID patient, finally does the bacterial test, that was positive. Then proceed to violate the patients exemptions with procedures that caused the patient to deteriorate then switched him over to a new doc to cover their tracks. Extreme negligence and abuse.

A fit paramedic in his 30s goes there to get an inhaler for symptoms he wants to deal with by himself, but gets held there against his protest despite testing negative for covid. He's not released since he was declared as 'a health threat to society.' He's held there against his and his representative's will for almost 2 months! He was, despite his protests, ventilated which required administration of sedating drugs which paralyze the diaphragm (at least at high doses; so the patient can't breath when the breathing tube is removed if sedation isn't previously tapered off. This inability to breathe without ventilation while the diaphragm is still paralyzed by the drugs, is often explained as 'the patient can't breathe on his own, he will die' which often causes relatives to agree to the cessation of all treatments resulting in a patient's death). Additionally, this man received the often kidney damaging drug remdesivir against his and his representative's protest, and he even was inoculated twice with an experimental unsafe and non-effective gene therapy called 'c19 vaccine' without his or his representative's knowledge and despite the fact that he even had an exemption. After the hospital agreed to move him out of the ICU, the patient was verbally abused; all that in addition to having lost 2 months of his life and freedom, and having potential negative health consequences caused by this involuntary hospital stay and inappropriate and unwanted medical treatment. How can this be happening on a hospital?

This is the worst Hospital I've been in. The nurses are rude and very hateful. I do not recommend this hospital.

Before it was taken over by Mt Heath they had a hospitality house people could stay at. Now they have shut that down and there is no were for patients to stay and family of patients to be near there loved ones. It is a dirty shame they have done this because many people really relied on the house. Me and my husband was one of those families. He suffers from many health issue and we are in Huntington almost ever singe month. We gained many friends and family at the house. We were all there for each other. Now people have no were to stay and can not be close to there loved one. Shame on you for closing the house.

Worst place to go ever! Literally waiting hours while my eye is in paid listening to nurses laugh and chat but when I go to leave then they want to help.

was a patient at st mary's icu for 48 hours, ended up walking out of icu after rn's refused me a drink of water and food after npo was taken off. rn's were rude, loud, would'nt know bed side matter if it came up and slapped them in the face, i would rather die then go back to st mary's. rn's also cursed like sailors and called me a drug addict. thought it was funny i had a heart attack. please no one ever go to st mary's. st mary's was payed $100,000.00 for less then 48 hours of work.

Have been there 8 or9 times to have a renal stent changed.. there was no where I could have been treated better. All the staff in every department were so friendly and nice. And.. the ones with you are as cared for as you are.....!

I still recommend it because they did save my husband's life three times but it used to feel like a loving home. Since it got involved with Cabell, the whole atmosphere has changed into business before people. Makes me want to cry. We lost something special.

I had a hysterectomy in March 2018. I have never received care better than I received at St. Mary's. From the time I entered the door to the time I left the next day I was well cared for. All of the wonderful nurses, the one who put my IV in, pre-op, anesthesiologists, anyone I came in contact with and my doctor Dr. Caleb Huff-I couldn't have asked for better care.

Don't ever leave valuables unchecked I had $100 stolen out of my wallet while laying in the outside MRI truck July 5th, never had a problem anywhere else before so I won't be returning to St Mary's anytime soon.
