Don’t ever take any of your pets to Amber Lilly at Ayers Animal Hospital. She is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. My dog had a UTI infection and 105 degree temperature. We insisted that a urine test be done and she refused to perform the test. She was trying to send us to specialists in Columbus and god knows where without even having a diagnosis or know what’s going on when in reality it was a simple UTI infection. She did not give my dog any medication or treat the fever she sent him away in that condition. She also made it seem like we don’t have a lot of time with him left and that something serious is happening to him and we were instructed to immediately take him to the specialists in Ohio without even knowing what’s going on.We drove him 3 and a half hours to his local doctor in Morgantown. They were shocked that his fever was not treated and that they didn’t do the urine test. When all the results came back it was a UTI and my dog was given fluids and immediately treated for the infection. He was already looking better. I am grateful we acted and took him to our doctors in Morgantown she would’ve definitely killed my dog that day.Do not ever take your pets to Amber Lilly she is ruining Dr. Mark Ayers name.It was a simple UTI infection that was evolved into a big mountain hole due to laziness of the doctor and negligence.

I recommend this vet with the highest regard. I have been taking my animals there for years. Dr Ayres is a compassionate caring man. His staff to me appears cutting edge. Extended me dogs life 2 time 6 more years . Operations removing cancer the size of 2 adult fist. Admit it was pricey however it was my a life. The only problem I have is the wait time and then always wanting to see your animals. I cannot bring 5 cats in at one time just to get flea prevention. I can order the same thing off of Amazon. I understand they want to see the animals to protect themselves in case something happens in todays silly world. This is just flea medicine. I would give 5 stars if not for that. Bottom line they are the best. They are cutting edge. I recommend them to the highest degree.

I had a 3 o'clock appt and checked in from the parking lot as instructed. I was told they were running a few minutes behind and a tech would be out shortly to pick up my dog. At 3:27 I called back for an update. Let me bullet my thoughts: + If you are running more than 10 min behind schedule, you should be calling customers as a heads up. Unless you take ppl arriving to appts 20-30 min after their appt. Or are customers' time not valuable to your business? +Tech gets on phone and has the nerve to say it took her so long because she was reviewing my dog's record... you've had them for 3 weeks. Maybe do reviews the night before or morning of ( just a thought) +Lobby is closed (understandably due to COVID), but you should notify your customers of this.

The staff and doctors were very friendly, professional, and helpful. I was very impressed by how knowledgeable the doctor was and how willing she was to review labs and imaging with me, provide in depth explanations, and answer any and all questions that I had. Highly recommend.

Not a good first impression Ayers Animal Hospital. I made an appointment for my pet for a 4 year checkup. Due to impending weather, the office called and switched my appointment from 3:30 to 2:30 - no problem. Received another call at 11:11 asking me to come on over. I stopped what I was doing and was there in 20 minutes. Due to Covid, I called to check in - waited 45 minutes - still no one to get my pet. I left. I finally did receive a phone call 70 minutes after I checked in. The lady asked me a question regarding my pet and say they would soon be out to get him. Not sure why they bothered asking me to come on over if they weren't going to accommodate me in a timely fashion. Disappointed! Guess I'll be making an appointment somewhere else.

Very poor service they didn't seem to want to get a full medical history or want to do the testing that should have been required to receive the medication I did get which was a pill for a cat or make sure the medication wouldn't interfere with the heart surgery my cat needs. Did not seem to care about my concerns at all. I just want to warn anyone who cares about their pet.

The staff at Ayers Animal Hospital was so good to my Tommy. Everyone was always so nice and I appreciate the thank you card for my business! I’m so glad they were able to help my old man and take care of his ear infection.

The staff was polite and Dr. Ayers was great. He imformed me of what he was going to do before it was done. He even called on a weekend from his home to let me know my dog's test results so I would have piece of mind over the weekend.

truly kind people who work here. I had not been here with my cat before and she was ill they were able to fit me in same day. they also worked with me and gave me a quote and told me the recommendations of which test they want to do and which ones we can wait on. there safe during covid wearing masks and getting the pets from cars. personable.. there isn't much parking though and some construction going on also

A+ for such caring personnel! They always treat both of my fur babies like family! I highly recommend Dr. Lilly, she has always given excellent personal care! I want to shout out a kudos to Kaitlyn for easing my anxiety and going the extra mile for my understanding of the process that one of my fur babies now will need!

I cannot say enough about how great the staff is at Ayers! Dr. Baker is our vet of choice and she is so kind, patient, thorough and wonderful with our two fur babies! She has made an extremely scary time for us so much easier by calling and communicating with us promptly, answers all of our questions and never seems to be in a hurry (even though we know they are always busy). The ladies up front and the vet techs are amazing as well! Thank you ALL for caring for our fur babies the way you do!
