I recently went here for a funeral for my recently passed grandmother. The preacher played two songs about God being alive in the funeral and then spent the next hour trying to recruit people for the church, telling us the best part of the service is getting free food, and consistently telling us we need to give up our lives for God.I respect all religions and I don't mind religion at a funeral, especially if the person who had passed was involved in that religion. But making it all about your church and only mentioning the person who passed through a snarky comment is so disrespectful. Treating mourning people this way and disrespecting the passed this way is morbid. You will NOT get more people in this church by doing this.

Absolutely horrible preacher. Made a funeral all about himself and recruiting for his church. Despicable and disgusting. How selfish and horrid can you be to do that and then turn around and say if you have problems with the service I don’t care. No wonder you ran away as fast as you could after. What a absolutely garbage human being. May he have the day he deserves.

My wife and I stopped here to take a shuttle on bridge day 2022. The kindness and hospitality here is unmatched! The holy spirit is overwhelming with the people. Will be back to worship next time we are in town for sure.

The past 5 years that I have gone to Bridge Day we have gone here to get on a bus to go down to the bridge. This church is so friendly. You get your bus pass and go in they have breakfast for you, drinks everything. You come back after you have finished at the bridge and they have something for lunch for you. They ask for a donation IF you want to give one. They have music and singers while you're there. They DO Not push religion on you. It's a wonderful place to start and finish Bridge Day ??

Every year, I go there for the bridge day shuttle. The tickets are $3 for a ride to the bridge and they also have all the food/drinks you can eat, numerous chili's, soups, desserts, etc. and live music by the church choir. One of the guys in the congregation (not sure if he's the pastor) came to our table and chatted and said "yall come back". We will be back! Thanks for your hospitality and the welcoming environment. Even though we weren't looking for a church, we know where to go if we are in the area. You won't find better people than at the Lighthouse worship center!

Their involvement in the Bridge Day celebration was Top Notch All the Way. Friendly people, free hot coffee and breakfast. Clean restrooms and warm friendly faces. Hot free lunch was served as well. A real Blessing to the community.

Went there for Bridge Day.Everybody we met there was outstanding!!!!!!The food and hospitality was the same.Even though all of our group were Christian's, we were still touched by the love these folks showed. My prayer is that they touched many lost people, as well as other Christians.
