I went to the range for the first time about three days ago. Even though this range is about an hour away from me, I think this is going to be my place of choice to train. The RSOs were so friendly and none of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder like a lot of other ranges I’ve been too. Everyone was definitely prioritizing safety above all else, and the range was clean, functional, affordable, and family friendly. I even had an RSO lend me some gear to help me sight in my optic, and could even hear them cheering on a first time shooter they took their first shots. Not once did I observe anyone with unsafe practices, and I would recommend this range to anyone.

Very cool place to shoot. They have steel targets set up at various distances so you get the satisfying "ding" when you hit them.

I had a great time at Tango Down Range. Will was super helpful and informative. He helped me shoot a rifle for the first time. I will definitely be back.
As a new shooter, I felt comfortable and welcomed.

So I really liked this range, handgun side was awesome, enjoyed shooting the metal targets. I do wish the rifle side had more metal targets, since you can't really tell if you hit paper targets at 200 yards.
So, why the one star? There was a real jerk RSO running the place, he was a bigger guy with a beard. When my buddy and I went over to the rifle side he really wouldn't leave us alone (even though we were shooting perfectly safe). He started tell us we were going to hit wildlife, which is ridiculous because any wildlife are going to be scared off at the first shot - plus I'm not aiming at wildlife. Additionally, he said we were going to damage the wood holding up the targets. Again, we weren't aiming at the wood but if it gets damaged that's just a hazard of running a range (go to Home Depot and buy more). Then he proceeded to trash my buddy's rifle, telling him he shouldn't have a foregrip and flashlight (stuff that has nothing to do with safety). Honestly the entire exchange ruined my entire experience.

Never went. 20 dollars an hour per person is ridiculous.

I went to shoot here on Saturday, called the day before to confirm they would be open and their hours, they confirmed they would be open from 9-5, I showed up at 8:45am the gate was locked, a regular at the range was there as well and said that it's pretty usual for them to be running late, said they typically don't open until around 9:30, seemed odd but I waited until 9:30, still no one showed so I called the number on Google and the gentleman I spoke to seemed surprised that no one was there he then assured me someone would be there in 15-20 minutes. I waited until 10:10am at that point there was still no one there to open, this to me is wildly unacceptable but maybe I just expect too much. EDIT: To answer the questions below I called the number for the range and the guy I spoke to had no idea that no one was there to open up the range, he said he would call back which he did on a number ending in 4522 he told me someone would be there in 15-20 minutes when no one had showed up by 10:10am I left. And to reiterate a point from above again a range regular said that this was a common occurrence.

I had a very positive experience my first time at Tango Down Range. The RO was very personable and helpful. Super nice guy who was willing to lend advice and actually help me sight in my new 556 lightning fast. He had a lot of knowledge and was very patient with me and even went as far to help explain how to break down and clean my new rifle. They allowed us to have fun as long as we were safe and had a mix of paper targets and steel targets to keep it lively. I really appreciate that they don't force you to purchase a membership on top of your hourly rate and I look forward to spending a lot of time there this year.

Lots of steel targets for handguns, paper targets provided for rifles, and the RSO keeps things safe without keeping you from having a good time. Double taps, mag dump, and holster draws are ok.
