New River Campground Inc.

Hours: New River Campground Inc. is a campground right on the river with beautiful scenery and ez access. It is right off the main road in a valley with mountains. The location is great, right on the river, with spots darn near in the river. It offers full hook ups for RV and tent camping, including some spots for big rigs, with level gravel sites. Amenities include a boat launch, a store within walking distance, and bathrooms with access for campers. It is dog friendly and kid friendly, with kind staff. The campground is noted for its affordability and reasonable rates. Some areas for improvement include being difficult to get ahold of, as follow up with calls and emails can be slow. The campground could be kept up a little better, with some muddy spots, and the laundry machine prices are considered high. The office store does not have much. Cellular service can be slow. Despite these small things to tweak, it provides a good experience overall. Many would visit again, noting it as a great little campground with a really cool, close proximity to the river.
