I was intimidated, laughed at. Hair stylist refused to answer my questions. She yelled at me to get out of her chair. Grabbed my arm and tried to pull me out of the chair. The so called owner was there and I asked him why he allowed her to do all this and not intervene. He shrugged his shoulders and did not answer me. The most unprovoked embarrassing treatment. This happened one day ago. 3/25/24.

I requested an appointment with a stylist that was good with very curly hair and highlights. During consultation I clearly explained my daughter wanted her blond chunky highlights done because they had grown out. Also explained she loves front pieces around face to be very blond. Stylist gave her Carmel thin highlights all over. You can clearly see where old highlights stop. After washing/conditioning she kept telling her she had rat nests in her hair and her hair was “mad” and laughing. My daughter was very uncomfortable. She came in with brushed hair in a braid no tangles. Stylist also cussed a lot and my daughter is only 13yrs old. Stylist said she thought she was 15 so I guess that’s why she thought it was ok to use that language with her. She used a blow dryer and tried to brush out/blow dry her hair. I finally had to stop her and tell her we would like to leave. Her hair was so frizzy and big she was almost crying. She made fun of her out loud for not having her hair done since August. My daughter has perfect attendance at school, plays 5 sports and doesn’t want to miss school or practice. Her hair was barely trimmed because there was not dead ends we were mainly there to have highlights redone from growing out. I would not recommend anyone to visit this salon. Every other stylist knew, heard and saw exactly what was going on. No point to tell the owner because he obviously was AOK with her professionalism and quality of work. $130 paid and I have to take her somewhere else and pray they can fix it.

Great stylists and great prices. I have been going here for over 2 years now and never have a complaint. They listen to their clients and really take the time necessary to provide you with great service.

I enjoyed my total experience. The atmosphere was relaxing. Amy was very nice, and I was very happy with my hair color. I would recommend Viva Salon to anyone.

Didn't cut my hair anywhere close to what I asked for, don't have Amy touch your hair. She seems to know what she's doing but must be deaf I suppose. I wish she would finish cutting my hair to where I want it

Nice place when you can get someone who doesn't sling you around in the chair like a piece of meat and talk to you like a dog. Other than that I had no complaints. ? Goodbye, Viva! Never again...Services: Haircut

My hair looks good and everyone was really nice. I'd not been into this salon before and scheduled super last minute cause my hair was just too long and heavy. I called and was scheduled for about an hour later. I really appreciate them getting me in so soon and doing such a great job. If you see this, thank you Amy. (Also, I've been in some awfully uncomfortable salon chairs. Its a weird complement but the chair was really the most comfy I've had.)
