I came in to visit from Arizona this week. My brother and sister always do business, giving donations, and purchases to Penny Pinchers. A couple of days ago, I was there with my sister when she donated a lot of new Christmas things. I stayed in front unloading the car for 3 buggies of things. My sister said the woman who knew her and my brother was thrilled to get them and she thanked her over and over. I was working in the garage in a tank top and jeans and told my sister I would take several other boxes of things over she had boxed in her garage. Because my sister is moving she has a lot of donations of nice things.I went in and got a buggy to unload my car. The lady at the desk, and reddish hair lady ,who was helping , was very polite. I told them my sister had donated Christmas things and she said " yes, we loved them!" All was good until the red head helped me go to the back with the buggy to donate things. The red haired lady told a woman I needed another buggy as I had more things. The dark haired woman put her hand on her hip and said,in a rude voice "where am I supposed to put all this stuff? How much more are you bringing in?" And I said another buggy full ,then I looked at the red haired lady and I said "I can donate this to someone who would appreciate a donation" , but she she said "no we want it here, we appreciate it, We put the Christmas stuff upstairs yesterday. I thought the dark-haired lady was very rude. I had never felt embarrassment delivering donations to a Christian organization before. Was it because I wasn't in my regular dress clothes, or is she just normally rude?As I was giving a receipt for my donations, I told the other lady at the desk I don't know why my brother and sister like coming in here, I could've had it picked up for free and not had to deal with the wobbly buggy and dark haired woman in the back!

Today I stopped at Penny Pinchers Thrift Shop and was very pleased. I found a pair of Chico Jeans for $2.50 in my size and some great items for the upcoming Easter Holiday Season. I also found some items that with some glue here, fabric there I can revamp and flip!! Very exciting!

They gave me a deal on a couch set and delivered it to my house for only $20 more!! They even carried it in and put it in my living room.

Tony and I went to Penny Pinchers Thrift Store in Fairmont, WV. With my GPS system we found it easily. There was on the street parking along with private parking lot on the side.We went inside and it's very large inside, one level. Very nicely laid out.Definitely will go back again

Extremely rude employees. I asked his much something was and you would have thought I asked her to do fifty jumping jacks. Furniture is overpriced. A few good deals but I decided not to buy anything because the workers were so snobby.

They require masks and won't let you in without one, even if you're vaccinated.If they are so terrified of customers getting them sick then they shouldn't be open.
