My son started a few years ago. The environment was welcoming and made him feel strong and confident. His skills and his confidence have grown leaps and bounds since he began. I highly recommend for kids of all athletic abilities, they will help keep your kids, active, healthy and feeling good about themselves.

My son loves Imperium jiu jitsu! It’s a great training environment teaching responsibility, respect, and self defense. Their professor and coach’s are wonderful with kids and my son has learned so much the past two years. Would highly recommend!

Professor Gene and Tamara went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable while training at this one of a kind BJJ Gym. Very thankful for people like them and a place like this. Will be returning for more classes soon!

About Team Luiz Palhares of West Virginia - Imperium Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Team Luiz Palhares of West Virginia is an affiliate of the Luiz Palhares Jiu-Jitsu Association and the home of Imperium Jiu-Jitsu. We train in authentic Gracie (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu!
The monthly cost of training is $60 (adults) for all classes per month. The monthly cost for the children classes is $50 per month. There is a discount of $10 off per person for each additional direct family member. We also offer a law enforcement discount. The monthly fee is due the first week of each month. Currently we accept cash, personal check and money orders for payment.
