Very friendly place to be! We bought some items for our new cat, including a hand knit cat bed (see photo), cat fountain, scratch post, and food dish. The staff members were very helpful. Fancy Paws also supports adopting cats from the local shelter by hosting a few cats at the store. And of course, there are store cats who strut around the store looking adorable.

We’ve been using Allegheny since we got our first cat in 2020. I was a first time cat owner and had no idea what to expect, especially when our Kitty ended up having some chronic health issues, but the staff at AVS have been incredible. We were grateful for their genuineness and kindness in every interaction and last year when the cat lottery happened to gift us another special needs kitty, the AVS staff continued to provide phenomenal care. Our boys are happy and healthy thanks to their attention to patient support. I’ve not encountered a single team member who didn’t address us with a smile and authentic kindness. And the cherry on top of their clinic is the fact that you can set up a comprehensive web portal for your pets to get reminders about appointments and vaccines as well as their records if you need them. I will happily always use Allegheny and recommend them to every pet owner I come across!

We went here for dinner for New Year’s Eve on our way to Snowshoe and could not have been more impressed. Dinner started off with three different kinds of bread all of which were great. We ordered the dandelion martini, the lavender martini, and the old fashioned all which were impressive. The duck we had for dinner was the best duck we have ever had. We will be back!
