The local Piggly Wiggly deli was highly recommended for good hot food. So. I decided to try it out. Options were plenty. I decided to go with a 2-piece fried chicken plate for $6.99. (A 3- piece would have been $7.99). The plates come with two sides. I chose green beans and mac&cheese. What I liked was I could choose 2 drumsticks. The mac&cheese was creamy and cheesy, the green beans tasty and cooked with real bacon. I could have eaten there at the deli because they do have a couple of tables there, but decided to take it home. A delicious meal. I intend on trying some of the other dishes soon.
P.S. I saw a wooden box and asked about it inside the store. It is called a "Blessing Box" to help those who need to stretch their dollars. What a great way to help the community!

I’ve had people make fun of me when I will come in the store and then found out that they’re both still working here. I never got an apology that was two years ago and then when I saw Joey, who literally started making fun of me when I was entered on the job, I saw him again. I said I’m not doing this today. He literally thought that was funny. I would never recommend Piggly Wiggly again.

I've always felt piggy wiggly was expensive. Walmart is cheaper than this place and I can drive 10 minutes out my way to Aldi or Kroger for better deals.

There is no self checkout and the prices are insanely high. The only reason I go there is to get lunch from their hot bar in the deli department.

This building has been many different grocery stores. The Pig is by far the best! Meat dept is great!! No self checkout!! Always staffed well.. they check out and bag your groceries!!
