They assisted with a very difficult situation. It was expensive like all things these days, however they did a good job and was understanding about it so five stars.

Office staff is rude. Impossible to get an appointment to have an animal spayed/neutered. I was informed by a staff member 2 months ago that they are a Doctor short, & they have still not replaced them to this day. Everytime I attempt to call & inquire about scheduling an apt in advance i'm told the scheduling has not been made yet and i'm told to try calling back in another 2 weeks! It has been over 2 months!! What is this Socalism?! It's complete insanity...Stop being greedy and hire more competent help. They want us to adopt animals, but don't want to offer the medical assistance necessary to prevent animals from over populating!!! Sincerely, a concerned animal lover.

Waited in line for well over 20 minutes waiting for the front desk to get off the phone. Pretty upsetting that I waited patiently in line for my dog to be seen only to be told they do not allow walkin after 1030 am... It is now 1042am. Confused as this is an "Animal Hospital" but very glad they shoved me out the door. Found an incredible vet just one town over, much cleaner and might I add friendlier & PATIENT.

I like the staff... I speak spanish so sometimes it is hard to communicate but the staff is super nice and never made me feel bad for it. My dog is also very happy there.

I took my dog, Benny, as a new patient because Avalon is closing its doors soon. My dog was very sick and the staff took such good care of him.

I made an appointment to get my cat micro-chipped. They told me over the phone it would be $65.
Staff was friendly, but when I went to check out I was told I would have to pay over $100 dollars because they performed a "medical exam". I was not asked if I wanted the exam performed, they just came in and started looking at him. I didn't realize this wasn't part of the micro-chipping process, and if I had been told that, I would have asked them to stop. I asked them a few questions, but if I had known how much it would cost me I wouldn't have bothered.
How is this not incredibly predatory? If the medical exam was required to micro-chip my cat, it should have been included in the price. If it was not necessary, I should have been asked if I wanted it done. If I am going to be charged $54 just to ask a few questions, they should have told me beforehand what my questions would cost.
I've been here a few times before and I was always told what procedures were being done and how much they would cost. I will not be going here in the future, as I don't enjoy being robbed blind.

Went to the vet this morning as a walk in to get my dog's nails clipped because she has severe anxiety and won't let me do it. She may have even needed to be sedated because of how she acts when you try to cut her nails. Which is why I took her to the vet for help with this. I was there before they even opened, standing outside to get in line and on the list to be seen. When I was checking in, the receptionist was rude and told me they do appointments for nail clippings instead of walk ins, even though they advertise walk ins as "anything". She then told me that it was going to be a while before they could get me in there, even though I was in line like everyone else. It would have been a better situation and I wouldn't have been upset if the staff there was friendly and able to explain their policy. However, they were rude and not helpful. Walking in there to have your animal seen was like the military. "NAME" "WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR" "WHOS NEXT". No customer service skills whatsoever.

Dr. Marker was so personable and addressed all of my questions and concerns with compassion and knowledge. She was loving and gentle handling my baby,, as was her.assistant!
The entire staff was friendly and the price, lower than I'd expected.
So glad we've found our new vet!
