This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel. I stopped to the hotel at 4:37 am when I went into the room it smell sour like mildew I was so exhausted I ignored the smell(which turned out to be mold in the tub) I honestly should have checked the bed before I laid in it but didn't so when I was woken up by someone baming on the door before check out time, I got up and looked at the pillows and sheets. I'm not sure what is all over the pillows and bed but my face and skin were burning, when I showed them I was told it's to late I should have said something when I checked in. And in all honesty I only was letting them know so they could make sure it was changed for the next person, never did I mention a refund or discount nor was I rude or irate. I took pictures of the mess on the bed, of my face where it is now going raw. I am now headed to an er to find out why my skin is burning.Rooms: This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a hotel. There wasn't much outside traffic but there were some people standing outside which made me a little uncomfortableFood & drinks: There are several restaurants around in walking distance. There is a taco bell, Wendy's, speedway, and another nice gas station right in front of the hotel.

I've stayed in a lot of Motel 6 locations over the years and across the country. This was the worst. First they tried to put us in a room that wasn't cleaned and still open. Then they put us in one with dirty towels still on the back of the bathroom door (which I didn't realize until I went to take a shower in the morning....ewwwwww) and dead bugs on the floor. The only redeeming quality was a partial refund.

There were dead roaches embedded in the bathroom floor. The "non-smoking" room stunk BAD of cigarette smoke. (There was an actual ashtray in the room and cigarette burns in the blankets and bedspread, btw.) We think mold is growing under the sink. Maid service did not come at all in 2 days, not even to exchange towels or remove trash. On the 3rd day, they made the beds and exchanged towels, but left a trash can full of trash. When I called to confirm the reservation, I was told we could have a refrigerator and microwave, but was ultimately told they only have 1 (yes, one) fridge for ALL of the non-smoking rooms and it was taken. We tried to make due with a cooler, but the ice machine was broken on the 2nd day. A family member paid in advance for the room. She called customer service 2 or 3 times because someone didn't check a "third party" box. Ultimately, she had to drive from home to the hotel before we could check-in. We would have left, but we didn't want to look ungrateful. Also, based on the credit card problems, I'm doubtful she would get her money back. Positives: The sheets appeared to be clean, and I think they cleaned the sink and toilet. The surfaces of the furniture (like the desk and table) appeared to also be periodically cleaned. Overall: Disgusting. We will NOT be back.

I'm a FORMER return customer at this (if you want to call it a motel) pit, on 12/22/16. I have stayed at this motel several times in the past. This was my last stay at this location. I got to my room, took my socks off, (big mistake) walked across the room and jumped into the shower, I noticed black dirt coming from the bottom of my feet, as the water came out. NASTY. After my shower I put my clean socks back on and walked across the floor and looked at my socks. Black as coal. I might as well have been walking in mud. I looked behind the bath door, there was enough dirt there for a rat to build a 2 story home. I have called corporate and expressed my dismay and disappointment, they offered nothing to me, as far as compensation. My job is customer service, this Motel chain has no customer service for their return customers. My return business to this and other Motel 6, have stopped pronto. One bad experience, and no offer of compensation, NOT GOOD. With that said: SSSSSEEEEE YAAAA! I'll stay across the street.

If price is the only yardstick you use, this is the best place in town. Otherwise, spend the extra money elsewhere. First, I had to wait almost five minutes for a clerk to check me in. He was out delivering towels. I paid $5 for the "premium" wifi that worked half the time at best. I get into my room and at first glance, it's fine. Then the heater comes on. The blower motor begins screaming like a banshee and there is not a single towel. Back to the office and he takes me to an adjoining room to make sure it's okay. The towels I did get were threadbare. Nothing matched. The bedspread and burns and stains. The sheets were clean. There was a small power panel in the room that was screwed shut (BIG fire code violation.) The clerk was pleasant and helpful, but overworked. Again, if price is your only concern, it's acceptable.

Gross gross ghetto gross. There was hair eveverywhere. And pubic hair as well. Pee all over the toilet and the toilet seat. The afternoon staff was awesome. The night girl working the desk was terrible. Typical new generation attitude (it's not my problem, what do you want from me). Couldn't care less. Way to run a business. I also felt like I was going to be robbed at any moment. I was there for a total of 5 hours and couldn't take it anymore. I asked for a refund or a partial refund and her response was I cant do anything. Did she try, no! Did she call a manager or get off her butt, no! Thanks for literally stealing $55 from a disabled veteran. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 and stay at a place that's clean and safe. I know you get what you pay for, but never in my life have I or will I pay for pee and hair. The ramada inn down the road accepts animals. Aaaaaand, there's no pee or hair everywhere. Americas finest doing what Americans do. Being awful.

Prelude: looking at these other reviews, I sometimes wonder what people think is reasonable to expect from your $43.95 nightly hotel room. Long-stemmed roses on your pillow? Massage and spa treatment? So, anyway, here is the deal: stopped in late one night on our way to Kentucky. The front clerk on our early-May stay was nice if a little uninterested. The room was very clean, no bugs to be found, didn't smell like smoke. It had the new linoleum, faux-wood floors that the company has been phasing in nationwide, a comfy enough bed, and a shower with both heat and pressure. Heat/AC unit kept us comfy. The ice machine in the lobby worked, the parking lot was well lit, the facilities were maintained, and the percentage of permanent resident meth-heads seemed pretty low. The wi-fi stayed connected, and the clerk didn't even bother with that $5 second-resident upcharge bullsh*t that some other locations will try to foist upon you. So, checked in quickly, slept reasonably, got the coffee that had obviously been refilled once to keep it around until ten AM, and hit the road without trouble. If you expect something else from a budget chain, then life has many greater disappointments in store for you.

This place was great for what you pay for. It was clean and smelled ok. The only reason go stay here is that it's close to the casinos.

I have stayed here 4 times. The best Motel 6 in the country. It's super clean. Great beds and actually flat screen tv's. I prefer this location to the Hampton Inn. One of the top values for a hotel I'm all my travels. I am glad I was on Yelp on my phone today to give these guys the review they deserved. Hardwood floors really makes me feel like this place is clean. Newer beds that are really soft too. Its not a Hilto but its a Great Motel 6. Been her quite a few times and it never disappoints.

I realize this is a motel 6 so my expectations were not high. I was just glad they would accomodate my very large dog. Gary at the front desk had excellent customer service skills. However, when we got to our room the garbage outside our door was overflowing with a pizza box lying on top of it and a dirty washcloth on the ground right in front of our door. This was disgusting. That being said, I did not mention it to hotel staff because we were just crashing for the night and leaving early. Personally, I feel rooms should be clean and all garbage should be taken out before guests arrive but, clearly that did not happen. Overall the room was clean although I did notice a hair by the sink which was kind of gross. This motel has been renovated recently so decor was fine. If I went to the area again I would be trying the other Motel 6 which is in the process of renovation hoping for a better result. Too bad because the staff here was really great especially Gary. BTW, snack and ice area is by the front desk and was well maintained
