We reserved a King bed but at check-in none were available so we were "upgraded" to an executive suite. The size of the room and the king bed was fine, but the room was out of date. Missing charging stations, lamps not working, lights not working, NO coffee maker in the room. There is WiFi service but the actual internet did not work during our visit. The "upgrade" included a hot tub however it did not have any working fixtures and was not functioning.The breakfast was a continental breakfast which was advertised but we were surprised that a hotel associated with a "casino & resort" would have had a hot breakfast buffet compared to similar hotels close by.

First time playing Blackjack and the dealer was very helpful. Good place for first time players. I had fun but the house still won! ?

Very clean and well spaced machines, loved the selection. Had the lobster bisque at The French Quarter, it was very very good. Was disappointed that the smoking area outside had no seating or overhead cover. No heaters or accommodations for customers. Since there is no smoking in the Casino the least that could be done is make the smoking area look alot less like a prison yard. There was no place to stand or sit covered from the rain or elements. I am not a complainer, but this was unacceptable when the goal is to have a good time and enjoy yourself. Don't be punished for enjoying one vice while being expected to spend money on another. Wake up and pay attention to your audience.

This casino is a pure dump to me. Was excited to visit it last night. Booked a room a mile away and way very disappointed by the player club staff last with glasses around 11 pm last night. She told me a lie that seemed to good to be true. Will never return.

Great place!! We were on a long trip with a camper (no generator, cold) and couldn't fit anywhere else plus we wanted to watch the football game (couldn't park truck and trailer at a bar). Google said they had no rooms but I called and they did! Tristan at the hotel desk was great!! Checked in, parked in the huge hotel lot, brought our stuff upstairs then went to find a bar to watch the game. The lady bartender was very good, she even made me one of her special drinks ? we got hungry and ordered from the cafe.. What a selection!!! Everything was excellent! We didn't gamble but thru out the whole football game, there was a guy playing a slot machine right by the bar area and he kept it right near a thousand the whole time. It was fun to watch. Also the casino is no smoking, which was awesome!! The locals are very friendly too. The hotel room was great! Carpet could be replaced though. The mattress on the bed.. Idk what it's made out of, it's weird but it was the most comfortable bed I've slept on, on this 5 day trip!! Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again if ever in the area! Staff, give yourselves a pat on the back.. Great customer service is hard to come by these days. ?

Better only bring 1 bag cause supposedly they only have 3 carts. Food is expensive for fast food no Buffet no coffee maker in the room. Breakfast food was cereal ,oatmeal, muffins HARD BOILED EGGS , YOGURT coffee n juice Real appetizing . Maintenance man Donald was the BIGGEST HELP than anyone thank goodness rooms were nice and 99 bucks . Was a special weekend to celebrate the wife’s cancer battle was over and she won she wanted to go to the casino in the morning but we left because we were hungry n didn’t want to go eat and come back later. Guess we will go to Charles town one day.

Most unwelcoming staff. We arrived earlier than expected. As it was a Sunday we thought maybe we could check in early. The young lady at the desk was very rude and sent us away with only no check in till 3pm. Came.back at 2:45 and she looked at us and said it's not 3. We had to stand there along with other that told the same story until exactly 3pm. Then because I booked though the website they couldn't find my reservation. Had to show my email to prove I had.a reservation. There are no coffee pots in the room, the tub didn't drain well so you had to stand in 2 inches of water when you showered and the only one floor had a vending machine and it didn't work. The casino was fine, the food at Cafe Orleans was very good. Just don't think the hotel hastle is worth it. Will not be back.

Room was in bad shape, big hump in the middle of the bed, but nice TV, Mini-Frugality, and AC worked. Super pricey for a funky room, but it is convenient to casino. No coffee in hotel except breakfast time, one of two vending machines empty. Reception scary. But again it's nice to be able to walk down to the casino.Food & drinks: Food was well priced.

It was a great place except rooms were dusty and dirty,dried food on carpet, toilet would run off and on when not in use,old food left in frig, and no microwave or coffee maker, even put them in main breakfast area so you can have a cup of tea or coffee when you feel like it. No safety bar in shower, pool indoors but closed off as well as exercise room , don't imagine I'll be back to stay over, but would get another hotel close and go to casino.Nearby activities: No real activities around and only a couple of bars or fast food, and cracker barrel .

Tia, I have read back on the reviews going some months back. Customer leaves a review, you say you will address it and it seems nothing gets done. I have attached some pictures here that seem to be a recurring theme here. Does the casino money not make it to the hotel? Your house cleaning and maintenance staff really need to find another gear. We pay a premium for essentially something a bit less that your standard 39.99 or pay by the month motel. Floor either has puke or pee all over it. Mold in bathroom. Ac filters so clogged air barely moved, sink drain wasn't working, Maid didn't even stock toilet paper in the bathroom. Called the front desk and was hung up on twice trying to get some. Just overall disappointed. I stayed here a couple of years ago and do not remember it being like this. Do better.Also, take the time to read the responses from Brendan and Lance working with mardi gras, totally condescending responses to valid complaints. (Shows it all right there)

This place is very low class. Do not waste your time or money. I played 25 games of B.J. And maybe won two hands. Pit boss was way too excited to see any decent money come through this place. Take your money elsewhere.

The hotel room is very comfortable and clean! The food was great at the French Quarter! Had a great time playing slots ! This is our fun place while traveling from Midwest to east coast 2-3 times a year! Very pretty drive!

Marci Gras Casino had a friendly staff, clean facility and low minimums on table games as well as good slots. Even though it was smoke free, they offered a very nice area with tables/chairs for smokers. I definitely recommend the Casino and will be back.
