The mechanic takes great care to ensure your repairs are done correctly. Even though he's the only mechanic on shift (as per my last visit), the wait is well worth it, as my car feels almost new every time I get it from this shop.

I was passing through WV when my transmission failed. I had my vehicle towed to a local dealership and continued my journey to the midwest by another means. From there I searched for repair shops and contacted A Plus Auto Repair, who agreed to do the repairs, and towed the vehicle to their shop. When the new transmission arrived and repairs were finished, they contacted me and offered to pick me up at the local airport. Great Service and friendly.Service: Transmission replacement

The best auto repair experience you can receive, don’t waste your time looking around.The owner stayed late helping us on a Friday, which he said he’s rarely done, with his wife and two extra staff to get us back on the road to celebrate Christmas up north. Our car died on the highway and barely made it there. We spent hours in the comfortable waiting room with Christmas decorations and hallmark movies playing, our dog Sammy sleeping under a chair. This was the best auto repair experience i have ever had, tremendous value and they got our car running like a Porsche. Their service went beyond the expected and saved Christmas. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasurable experience of dealing with an exemplary company – A Plus Auto Care. I am always careful not to lavish praise unless it is well-deserved. And in this case, it is.In the period extending from January 30, 2020 to February 10, 2021, A Plus Auto Care completed the task of acquiring a rebuilt transmission and installing it in my 2007 Trailblazer. I was very pleased with this 11-day turnaround time. Unbelievably, however, the owner apologized that the job took so long. She emphasized that the business was currently short-staffed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was advised that the typical turnaround time for this type of job is less than one week.The staff is demonstrably well-versed in all the intricate details surrounding transmissions – they know them inside and out since they replace transmissions on an almost-daily basis.Their knowledge and expertise are rivaled only by their professionalism and courtesy. Michelle and Kelly were extremely accommodating and helpful. They were careful to make frequent customer contact to provide repair status updates. Very thorough.I found the mechanics there to be excellent as well. Tony, the proprietor – himself a seasoned mechanic – has more than thirty years of transmission-related experience.The mechanic who tested the transmission’s performance -- I’m sorry I didn’t get his name – really went above and beyond when he observed a leaky rusted fluid line after the replacement had been completed. This potentially saved me the headache of dealing with future problems of a similar nature.I have nothing negative to say regarding my experience with this stellar business, and I wholeheartedly recommend A Plus Auto Care.Service: Transmission

My wife and daughter were driving home from South Carolina and our truck broke down near Beckley. A local fireman stopped to help and recommended that we take the truck here. The truck was diagnosed with a failed transmission. Tony, the owner, and his team were fantastic. They kept in communication with the progress of the repairs etc. I picked up the truck and drove home to Cincinnati. The truck rode great and all is good. I would highly recommend A Plus Auto!
