The people who work here are friendly and the rooms are always extremely clean. My wife is from Clay so we stay at the Elk River I'm quite often . Very nice

We stayed a night here with our cats and it was the most cleanest hotel I've ever seen. Wifi access and name brand coffee. Water pressure was perfect. The soap they give you smells amazing and is definitely high quality. Microwave cooks well and nice fridge. I didn't wake up once in the comfy big bed. Fluffy pillows. The most beautiful view of the river. A nice rail trail across from it. Nice, amazing people. Their kindness makes you feel right at home. Like you've known them your whole life. There's a bunch of cool little shops under the rooms during daytime hours. Everything is amazing priced. You will never forget your experience here. I will definitely stay again when needed.

Never ever judge a book by it's cover.Owner is in process of remodeling and upgrading so please keep an open mind.My bed wasn't all that comfy but that was my only issue. Owner stated they will be getting new beds so do not let that discourage you, lol. Still doable! Nice balcony to sit out on & have morning coffee but would like to ask if they could at least give a good sweep and clean up. Overall not bad and I would stay here again. Owner is very nice and the Inn is quiet & relaxing!

I haven't even been checked in the room for a whole 24 hours I left to go to family dollar I came back an there was someone in my room I didn't ask for no house keeping an they still went in my room without consent

Basic room. Mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, A/C, TV. Room was clean and everything worked. Owner was super nice and rooms are reasonably priced.

Owner is nice, room was very comfortable. Reasonable prices, and the owner also had a nice little shop too! Right next door to a Family Dollar, which is very convenient.

This is my favorite place to be when in WVa. The proprieter, the cleaning engineers, always so kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and the view of the Elk River soo peaceful.

Friendly people great priced a simple little town feel to the hotel and town in general im from Wisconsin and normally when you see little town motels like this somtimes its run dowm but that isn't the case here it is beautiful clean rooms they treat you like family I highly recommend coming here for vacation for a weekend ?
