“This is a tiny but well-established little salt-harvesting business. Well worth the visit, the 20-minute tour was so interesting and informative I forgot to take pictures! The main shop is full of local and Appalachian handmade goods, and very meticulously decorated in a charming log-cabin style. There is a small, cultivated garden path outside as well. We were very impressed by the different salt flavors, and by their unswerving insistence on using low-impact farming methods and local ingredients in their flavored products. Our tour guide told us they'd been back in business for 10 years; I hope they have many more years ahead of them!”

“Our family loves Quantum Sports in Hurricane. We have been having our children’s birthday parties there since 2018. Our most recent party was 10/7/2023. The staff were so helpful. They helped my husband and I unload our vehicle, and assisted us in decorating prior to the party. During the party, there were coaches on the field playing and interacting with all the kids and making sure everyone was having a great time. At the end of the party, the staff helped us take down our decor and load up our vehicle. The facility was clean and kid friendly. There were new inflatables (even a couple since our last party 2 months ago), and the kids loved the variety of activities available on the field. We looking forward to having our parties there every year!!!!”

“I absolutely love UC'S interior decoration. And who knew that the lovely Betty White was given an honorary doctorate in animal law, by UC. I didn't until now.”

“We enjoyed staying in this hotel. The front desk people were very friendly. The room was amazing. The conference rooms were very nice . We did not use the pool but next time I will bring my swimsuit because the pool looks beautiful and there is a hot tub. It is an indoor pool surrounded by glass walls. There's a nice area outside the pool for lounging when weather is nice. The only complaints I have are with the restaurant/bar. The food was very fancy, but to be honest, I didn't understand half of the menu. I asked my server if a side dish came with the pork chops, and he picked up the menu and read it to me, which didn't answer my question because I had already read the menu. I ended up ordering a quesadilla, and it was very good but a little expensive. Our server was named John, and he was very nice.Hotel guests get a free breakfast. Unfortunately, we got to breakfast right at 9:00. The place was full, and more people were still coming in. It was a buffet style breakfast. But almost all the food was gone didn't replenish it because it was 9:00 I think that if you have people still eating they got there before 9:00 you should replenish the food. The syrup was completely empty, and when I asked for them to fill the syrup instead, she brought me a little bowl of syrup, but there were two of us, so I had to ask again. Finally, after picking through what little was left, I got food for us, though we didn't get scrambled eggs or sausage. Finally, we were ready to eat, but we had no silverware. There were just empty containers. We had to ask and wait for silverware. We had to ask and wait for orange juice. I was just glad that was free because I would not have paid money for the breakfast we had.Rooms: Our room was wonderful. I was traveling with a person who uses a wheelchair and many times when we stay in a hotel it is cramped and there's no way she can take a shower because it's usually not accessible for her. The room they gave us was beautiful and more importantly it was wheelchair accessible. There was a roll-in shower, the bathroom was big enough for her to turn around in with her chair. There was a space under the sink so she could get right up to it. Our room had a little kitchen. Even the kitchen sink headspace underneath four someone in a wheelchair and the microwave was down low enough for her to reach. There was a Keurig in the room with coffee pods and there was even pots and pans and dishes in the cabinet in case we wanted to cook. I've never stayed in such a nice room and I've definitely never seen a hotel room as accessible as this one was.”

“It was our first trampoline park experience and it was great. The young lady that checked us in explained how it all worked and made me comfortable and at ease. I wish the toddler area had a little more to it but we had an amazing time nonetheless. We were there in the evening on a weekday so it wasn't super packed. We will be going again.”
