Went to this local Valvoline on September 16th. Had not even reach 6,000 miles. During that time I had to get four "top offs" of 3 quarts of oil. My KIA requires 5.1 quarts. That is a total of 17.1 quarts of oil. After the last "top off" on November 28th I asked them to check for any leaks. Instead the manager Iziak just filled my vehicle with some type of oil. My vehicle takes the full synthetic 5w20. Then he had me drive off. After 564 miles my engine blew. KIA sorento engines have a recall on them from 2012 - 2017. That is why I bought the vehicle. But when the KIA dealership did their investigation they noticed that the engine was seized. The dip stick was not registering any oil. Then they lifted on the rack. Removed the under carriage panel and found the OIL PAN PLUG WAS NOT IN THE OIL PAN. So when I asked for them to check the engine for a leak, I expected that they would check. Instead I was given excuses that they did not know how the plug would fall out, BUT THEY WOULD NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY. They blamed KIA and the dealership. KIA nor the dealership had anything to gain. KIA did not even know that Valvoline did the oil change. Not even that but KIA had other KIA Sorento getting engine replacements. My vehicle was NOT singled out by the dealership to blame the oil change. Lastly, I was told by Valvoline Corporate that the store or regional manager would physically go out and conduct their investigation within 2 business days. It's now 6 business days later and they NEVER looked at the vehicle. They just made an arbitrary decision that it was not their store. So, did they really check the oil plug ? Not in the amount of time I was there. I even got out of the vehicle on one of the occasions and no one ever removed the panel. They just filled it up, and blamed KIA for excessive oil burn. 17.1 quarts ??? I don't think so. What oil did they put in, since I know where the synthetic oil I get is kept on the back wall and not the oil "hose" they used ? TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND REPLACE MY ENGINE, AND PAY FOR MY TOWING AND RENTAL CAR !! Sadly I took it to them because I believed they had integrity. NO THEY DON'T *** You state you "completed" the investigation. You did not even go to the dealership to check the vehicle. You say it's been "resolved" . How ?? I received no denial letter. All I have heard is that there are "red flags". What are the "red flags".

I took my car in after work and they changed my oil and filter in 20 minutes start to finish. I like this location best because the ones in Kanawha City and West side are slower and try too hard to push extra services onto me. Five stars!

Fast & efficient. Used $25 off coupon which was awesome. Employess could have been more informative. Also just handed me sticker and did not remove old one. But overall good.

Beware! Went to Valvoline as my car is newly out of warranty. My dealer sends me prices for their services by email. Hunted and hunted for Valvoline‘s price online and could find none so I called this location this morning. I was quoted 69.95 for my full synthetic oil change, but after receiving the oil change, they indicated that indeed it was actually 89.95. Be sure to check price before they do the work. Turns out they charge double what the dealer charges!

Took my truck here for an oil change. The employees seemed confused about that they were doing entering my information into the computer, they were very unprofessional, the guy filling the oil back up couldn’t read the dipstick which made me very un sure about this oil change when I left. 2 days later I see some oily spots on the side of my truck and in the wheel well. I open the hood and the oil cap was left off and sitting on the top of the motor and the dip stick was half out causing oil spray into the engine compartment. I’ve contacted customer service and waiting for a manager to call. I won’t be back.

Quick oil change. No issues. The price is three times what I used to pay at Jiffy Lube years ago but it's about the same as other places these days I guess.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation, after leaving I stopped by the store. When walking back to the vehicle I notice the holes for the lug nuts have big scratches in them (wheels are black) All 4 wheels are like this from where they started and stopped the impact gun off of the lug nuts. I filed a claim the day of the incident, we are going on 2 weeks of no answer because the area manager will not return phone calls or answer the phone when customer service has reach out to them. So I’m left with awful looking wheels and an MIA manager aparantly….

Great employees, extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Station didn't carry oil filter for 2023 Hyundai Palisade, making the 30+ minutes we had to wait for our turn a complete waste of time. Management should have these stocked 7 months into the year.
