Prices were fair, the cargo van was fantastic. Linda, the woman that waited on us was spectacular. She made sure and waited for us at closing time to help insure that we rented the van that we needed for a family emergency. I am very grateful and thankful for her service. If you need a Uhaul in the Charleston area this is the place I recommend.

I don't go to this facility for truck rental, so I can't say anything about that part of this business.However, I do use this location for the Amazon Prime free returns program. It's quick, easy, & a very convenient location to drop off items without having to box or package them myself. The entire staff has always been polite & professional. I can usually get in & out in about 5-6 minutes or 10 mins if I goof up & go during their busy times (lunchtime or say 4:30-ish after work). Another exception would be during the Christmas holiday season... when understandably, I try to avoid going to UPS, USPS, the Charleston Town Center Mall, & any of the Corridor G shopping areas as if my life & sanity depend on it! (Which, by the way, I swear it really does!... Really!!)

Bard and crew were great - super kind and accommodating over the phone, and worked with me to get my U-Box to and from the locations I needed in a timely manner. NOTHING rude at all in any of my interactions. Just kindness and timely service!

The gentleman and lady who work here are genuinely the most wonderful people. So helpful and kind. Bless them. Highly recommend this U-Haul location just because of them.

They will try to say you did not bring your vehicle back with the appropriate mountain gas and charge you for it. Take a picture of your gas gauge in the mileage before you leave in. Also, when you return it, so you can prove.What you did?

I reserved a pick up truck from this location days in advance of the late pick up time. I arrive and no truck is available. They rented it and did not have the drop off time until the exact time I was to pick up. I had arrived early and the lady working attempted to contact the two ladies who were rented it. It arrived and 30 minutes after the pick up time, I was able to use it. i drove it 29 miles and returned it with the fuel level as it was when picked up. I receive a receipt from the location charging $20 for 4 gallons of usage. First, how is 4 gallons an even $20. With the cost of fuel on the rental day 4 gallons would total $13.53. I used 1.3 gallons of fuel and the truck was returned at the level it needed to be. They also charge an environmental fee which has been beaten by class action lawsuits in multiple states including WV. I did call U haul corporate office and they did refund the entire rental cost as they could not provide receipts for the fuel or details regarding the environmental fee. Do not use this rental location.

Pretty much always has what you need if you book your online reservation ahead of time last minute you may be stuck with what they have available as with any rental location this location has fast friendly service the staff is very good to help you this location beats Patrick Street all to pieces so if you're between Saint Albans and Patrick Street pick the St Albans location

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS U-HAUL LOCATION!! The old man and women that manage this place is super rude and will find whatever way necessary to over charge! They absolutely suck, and I hope with all my heart they see this! I told them once but Ill leave it here as well! Poor, trifling, musty, creatures they are!!!They’ll watch you drive off while smoking a Winston full flavored 100!0/10 do NOT recommend!#weirdos

Easy pick-up and drop-off, truck was clean and stocked as requested, staff was friendly and helpful. Great selection of storage supplies if u need them.

This last experience was good ! the one before was awful but I would use them again :)I've had friends that have never had bad experiences with this company so it was probably a fluke thing last time was great no complaints

Another review from my other account: Booked a truck for pickup. I picked the 24/7 pickup option. Drove 1 hour and 15 minutes to pickup my truck. I went on the app to say I was there and it told me I had to come in during business hours. I checked to make sure I was setup with the 24/7 option when I booked and before I left. So obviously someone at the store didn’t do what they were supposed to. So $40 later in gas, I have no truck and wasted my whole morning I could of used moving. I had to pay several people with pickup trucks to help me move and had to make several 1 hour and 30 minute trips to get my stuff moved. Very poor service!!!
