These folk really know how to take care of their customers. They are a full service marina. I can launch and stow my boat with an easy to use app. I can request they fuel, water, and place ice on the boat. All I have to do is show up, and my boat is ready to go.
Their mechanical staff is knowledgeable, and service in the parts department is friendly. On the weekend, Boat Bites, their dedicated food truck offers great entrees.
The sales staff is knowledgeable and current on the latest trends.

The worst experience! Take your money to Lou Wendell, I PROMISE YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU READ THIS REVIEW AND TOOK MY ADVICE. It doesn’t matter the issue or if there is no issue at all and you want to buy a boat for the first time… TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!
Edit… Your response is classic! How was I rude you would think a person can only drop the ball so many times. I’m glad you mentioned 20 year old boat because that is the real problem you all seem to have! Steering issue??? First I heard of that one! You know what’s funny is I still have all the paperwork where you were suppose to change the steering wheel, cables, etc!! I believe I paid over $2000 for all of that. I left the boat at your location all year for a gauge to be fixed that YOUR TECH RECOMMENDED! So as it sit there from July to October I did ask in September to do the 20 hour service however I called and spoke with Christine multiple times and as of the end of October the 20 hour service was never complete so the first week of NOVEMBER I called back it still WAS NOT DONE SO I INFORMED CHRISTINE THAT I WOULD PICK IT UP AND WE WOULD START THIS PROCESS OVER IN THE SPRING OF 24. March of 24 I call in asking when I can bring it back in to have gauges that I paid you all for plus the 20 hour service done. Two weeks go but never hear from Christine. I call in Jim answers says she’s busy she’ll call me back. A week goes by no call. Call back in with no answers still. It was at this point I called Lou Wendell they got me right in and in 4 days the boat was done. They informed me that the motor install was a poor job and asked who did it. I told them and also asked to see if they could tell me why the gauge wouldn’t work I paid you for. There answer was ITS NOT PLUGGED IN!!! You know you say 20 year old boat but that was never a problem up until this point. Tell me more about this steering issue I’m just hearing about?
2007 sweetwater with a 2023 Yamaha Vmax 115 bought from and installed by Trojan Landing. If your boat is similar in age (PAID FOR) don’t go to Trojan it’s not nice enough for them!
Upload the video or phone recordings of anytime I was there or we spoke. Was never rude one time not even Saturday when I stopped in and asked for all work to halt and I wanted to pay you all what I owed you and pick up the boat! Those were my EXACT WORDS. Want to hear because I have proof?? I was actually very calm considering what I was now being told. Still was never told or heard anything about a steering issue?
I picked up my boat last week and noticed they took out the digital gauge and installed the analog gauges. Works as they should!

The sales team was great a couple years ago when I bought a brand new boat... Getting the service dept. to work on what they sold me has been a nightmare.

We had many issues over the last 3 years that I won’t go into on this post. The most recent issue is a warning to potential and current customers.We paid a year in advance to store our boat. We just sold our boat with 7 months left of service and they refuse to refund the unused 7 months.The owner says that the contract we signed in 2019 states “partial refunds will only be considered under the most extenuating circumstances”. The contract does not define extenuating circumstances. They never asked why we no longer needed service or if we had any extenuating circumstance. They have no intention of refunding anyone for services they are not providing. This is a terrible way to do business and treat customers.I could understand them charging the month to month rate difference. However, just to say sorry “we don’t do refunds” is bad business and not a place people should support.

I am sure that if you have buckets of $$ to spend, they’ll be an eager 4 or 5 stars, but if all you want is a piddling $1000 motor, they definitely are a 1 and don’t waste your time going there.Apparently Shawn had to approve my order. After not hearing anything, I went back a second time to try to get the motor from him, and finally after a total of 3 weeks of silence I drove down to Huntington and got the motor that same day.

They sell boat gas, but not to the public...that makes them a waste of space unless I can afford to rent one.

The folks at Trojan are top notch. They work hard to make sure your boat is launched and stowed in a timely manner. Late on the Fourth of July they had crews helping everyone dock. They take great care of your boat. The staff is always very friendly. 5/5 stars.

They will literally hold your boat and not allow you to put it in the river even if it is completely normal conditions. I can't believe my friend pays these people to literally tell him no.
