1598 Lee St E, Charleston“My husband took me here about a week ago. I've never been here before, he had tho. He told me it was a nice thrift store with low prices. I have high anxiety so I'm always nervous going places esp if I never been there. The lady at the register greeted us. It wasn't packed but there's not a lot of room to walk around others and all the stuff for sell, so even tho it wasn't crowded, I felt closed in. But on the bright side of it, they had a lot of clothes, shoes, purses, belts, jewelry, and everything else. So if you like thrift stores, this is the place to go.
I used to shop at a popular thrift store...but I stopped going cause the items was just as expensive as if it was new.
In my opinion, this place is far better than any other thrift store I've been in. Lots of clothes from all sizes to look thru and they do have their clothes organized, so it's easier to find things.
We are very pleased with our shopping trip and thank you to the lady at the register who was nice and patient with me, (we finally got ourselves some clothes). And a couple items I never thought I would come across.... So never know what you'll find.
We will shop there again.”
“I absolutely love this store! I've gotten so many good deals here. I appreciate that the quality control is so good and prices are more than reasonable. Very very rarely has anything ever been stained of worn out that makes it out on the racks. This is my favorite thrift store. ?”
“The Mountain Mission has been helping people for at least 35 years, when I was a kid we used to go to the old thrift store that was in the warehouse next door over on the south side. I wish I had some pictures of that place, it was full of furniture and toys and clothes all those years ago and the people that ran the place always took care of the community anyway they could. I don't live there anymore but would support the store if I were local!”
“First time visiting this store. Had been wanting to go there for years but is way out of my area.2 stories of treasures. Loved it. Must go back when my hubby isn't with me so I can look to my hearts content. Every purchase goes for a good cause. What more could you ask for.”
“They have some stuff here. I lot of it is dirty and has bugs/webs all on it. It doesn't appear that they clean anything up before placing it out for sale. It's not that big so there's not much to choose from. But overall there are some treasures there you might find. It's like they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I love what the Salvation Army stands for so I try and support them as much as I can.”
“Very friendly employees that don't care to help out with questions and products. Good shopping experience based on pricing and customer service.Organized, Clean and comfortable environment.I would recommend to stop in at this location to see what kind of bargains that you can find.”
“A great place to bring unused or unwanted furniture, books, and appliances that are still in good condition. It's also a good place to snag said furniture for a cheap price! Good to see things being reused rather than just thrown out. They also have house blends of paint if you really feel creative.”
“Quick & easy drop off w/ friendly staff!
This Goodwill has a drive through drop off at the back of the store that is very convenient. The person working was at my vehicle ready to take the donations before I even got out of the car. Highly recommend going here if you’re in the area & need to get rid of some things.”
