This was my first year using an accountant and it was not a pleasant experience. We showed up to the appt scheduled for 9ak and no one was there. After waiting for 20 min, I called to leave a VM and asked to reschedule. No one returned my call. It wasn't until I called back in the afternoon that I was informed the woman doing our taxes had overslept. It wouldn't have been a big deal bc I understand tax time is busy and mistakes happen, but I would have appreciated a courtesy phone call once Paula was in the office.When I did finally see someone, everything went okay. Now that they've taken my money, I cannot get anyone to return my calls or emails. I've been trying to reach them for 4 weeks to have a question about my state refund answered.Now I'm thinking missing my first appt and not following up after, is just how they do business.If you choose to use them, good luck with getting them to communicate with you at any point during the process. Don't expect them to respect your time.
