We got internet installed but whn the guy came to install the internet he left and did not shut front door or porch door and my dogs got out I think it's pretty easy to shut a door the internet is good so far just the people that work should be more mindful of their surroundings and stuff

Optimum is horrible. The phone customer service line is useless. The agents barely speak English. It took a month for them to activate our new phones. We were promised 10 dollars off our internet bill. I have yet to see that on my statements. So I used the online chat and I was told the promotion expired. I was never informed that there was a limit to this promotion. So basically you get 2 months or 20 bucks. Honestly the frustration and inconveniences I've experienced are not worth saving 20 dollars. Save your sanity. Go somewhere else.

Lousy customer service, hidden fees, up charges, equipment rentals, and non-competitive pricing made the switch so easy I am left wondering what took me so long.I would never go back unless there was no other option.Be warned.

In one word terrible, just terrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any of their products. You cannot get through to customer service easily and when you do you're waiting on hold for a very long time. Their employees are not very helpful at all and seem to have an attitude. They do this because they know there are the only game in town right now and I cannot wait for their competition to come online so that I can leave them in the dust. They cut my bill off and stop sending it without telling me that they were going paperless, and then when I called in to get a paper bill sent they wanted $5 a month which is outrageous. Save time and the money and go elsewhere if you can.

Horror story company.Optimum cancelled my account on accident when I asked them about switching my girlfriend’s plan to mine when she moves in. When we said we didn’t want it done immediately the sales agent snapped at us and said she was working on it and then hung up on us. Never called back. Had to contact a new sales representative where we sat on the phone for probably another 2 hours. We were told by both sales agents during these calls that the transfer would be done on February 22, 2024 during 8-11 am. I took the day off of work for this.Since the sales agent has shut down and reopened the account, the service speed runs under 10 MBPS no matter what. Reset it, nothing changes. Talked to technical support for over 2 hours and they could never fix it and they told us we needed to get a bigger plan. It never fixed it. Told to wait until the next installment that’s scheduledSo finally it’s February 22nd, 2024. 12 pm. No agents have contacted me or showed up. I get in touch with an agent online, 2 different ones who both say there are no appointments for either me or my girlfriend. Great so I lost money by not showing up to work just for them to lie to me. So I am still relying on my data and paying 80 dollars for WiFi that doesn’t work. Worst internet company I think I’ve ever dealt with through all the states I’ve moved around.Also for months I haven’t been able to log in to my account. I have to pay my bills and check my account over the hotline. I have told several agents I can’t log in to my account, they will not help me or they don’t understand why it’s happening. Forgot my username/ password will never send to my phone number or email. Not my spam, nothing. Just a company that straight up refuses to let me have an online account with my plan although I definitely have to pay all of my bills to them.The router boxes provided by the company almost never work. I’ve had 2 or 3 since I’ve started the account. Had agents install them, not even done myself. They still just shut off or run insanely slow speeds all throughout the day. And it has been at each residency I’ve lived in with them. To me there is no point in being with this company unless it’s the only possible option.

Suddenlink, I would give you minus 5 stars if I could. So here you are: -⭐ -⭐ -⭐ -⭐ -⭐. We live in an apartment, we cannot have a satellite dish or an indoor/outdoor antenna. If you drop channels WCHS TV 8 and WCHS TV 12, THEN WE WILL DROP YOU!!!

my mother has been since first part of December with no internetsent someone to come fix the issue the first person told them they had to send a bucket truck on site scheduled to be there December 15th NEVER SHOWED had to reschedule another 2 weeks which is TODAY, someone came out put a box on their stuff they had at least cable but now has nothing told us someone would be back out same day to fix our issue NEVER SHOWED AGAIN telling us may need to wait another 2 weeks before service is fixed if that even happens!!!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous JOKE of a company worst than suddenlink
