Just like any other Petco to be honest

I'm normally not big on chain pet-stores, but Petco is usually better than Petsmart when it comes to ethics. That wasn't the case today, as I had visited Petsmart earlier (just browsing while my family was in the vape shop) and they had better husbandry for their reptiles, which was a big surprise. Their fish also seemed to be in better condition, but all things considered, please don't buy animals from big chain stores.

I found a clumping wood pellet ( Okocat) on sale when searching online & scheduled a pickup. As I strolled the store I was surprised to see some items I had been browsing lately were on sale for a good price and not just a good price for Petco, But a lower price than I had found online. So next time you're looking for something & everywhere you've looked & it's still too pricey, don't count Petco out (like I usually do). Check them out you might be pleasantly surprised like I was.

I stopped at Petco to purchase a small item. They are beside WalMart in the shopping plaza, so I was going to also stop in WalMart. I was not given a bag for my purchase, and I asked for a bag to distinguish my Petco exclusive item from anything in WalMart. Although Walmart does not carry that item, I would rather not have the hassle of potentially being questioned about it. I was told there is a 10 cents charge per bag. I asked if it can be added to my transaction (I paid by card) and whether tax is charged on it. Like most people in the 21st century, I no longer carry change around. The cashier said that paying for the thin plastic bags that Walmart gives away with each purchase is a cash only transaction. I fished through my wallet and found a dollar bill. She took the dollar bill and did not give me change. I told her I would like a receipt for the bag, as well as my change for the purchase. She told me she was unable to do that transaction. So how are they charging ten cents per bag? Is there a register key for it?? I asked to speak to her manager because inflation increasing 900% while I was standing at the register was unbelievable to me. The manager told me that they do charge ten cents per bag but there is no register key and I won't get a receipt. They also did not give me any amount of change back, therefore I believe they were both lying. I would like to see any evidence whatsoever that Petco charges 10c per bag.

The cashier was very nice. Greeted my husband & I with a smile. Gave us some information & we thanked him & we left.

Looking for small koi fish. Petco employee was very efficient and cheerful in catching 2 for me. She asked if I had a long trip ahead of me, but I didn't.

Pets are for our love and affection and protection.my dog Boo is my best friend and he is a rescue dog and a 150 pound Rottweiler he's a Big baby he's 12 years old and I rescued him 2 years ago.
