I absolutely LOVE the National Car Rental at CRW. The customer service there is always exceptional. They work to get you in and out and in your car expeditiously, and give you their business card to reach out with any issues. I highly recommend booking with them, you won't be disappointed!

Have you ever been hungry and decided to order Pizza Hut because it was convenient, but you didn't expect to be blown away by a culinary experience? Then, all of a sudden, you try the chicken alfredo pasta and think, "this is substantially better than I anticipated?" That very specific and precisely pleasant surprise pales in comparison to the fantastic experience we had with Erica and the entire National team in Charleston, WV. Whatever you pay them, it's not enough. They are the chicken alfredo pasta and we will keep coming back!

We had a problem with our car and couldn't get in touch with the branch. The only number avail is across the country, answered by someone i couldn't understand and got passed from one person to the next with each time having to verify myself. Are you so freaking lazy that you cannot give the basic service of providing a real phone number??Irritating. Even though I'm titanium elite, it's not worth the aggravation. I might just change to Avis.

I'm an executive elite member, I have used this location quite often recently. Every time has been nothing but excellent service here. They always take care of me and any requests I have. They are a smaller location, no grab and go, you must go to counter. Only once where there has been a line but still got what I needed in a timely manner given. Usually, there's just a rush even when one plane lands. I highly recommend this location

I am really not impressed with trying to follow up and locate a lost item from my rental vehicle the week of 11/14. I returned my vehicle on the afternoon of Thursday 11/17 and left sunglasses in the back seat area. I called four times the following day and never got a representative to answer- the number provided always rings three times, goes to short hold music, and then puts me to voicemail. I called the Emerald Club customer service line and put in two separate requests on the Friday and Saturday. It is now Monday 11/21 and I have called throughout the weekend and left voicemails with no returned calls or responses.I do not understand what is so difficult to just get a response back. The airport is not large or busy and I can clearly identify every detail about my rental, the lost item, and when I returned. I will be returning to the area in two weeks and will aggressively continue to follow up and talk directly to representatives there to locate my item.

Tuesday September 6 my flight was going to be late coming in from Atlanta by over 9 hours arriving at 1030 pm. I pulled up the website for the National location for CRW Airport. I saw negative reviews that customers were left with no car because their flight came in late. I made multiple calls around 1 pm with no answer and left a detailed message when I would be arriving with contact info. Getting in guess what the gal behind the counter pulls the National slip showing 1 pm and she did not have a car for me. Avis has cars she says. I told her I left a message on their voicemail letting them know I would get in at 1030pm. She stated that they have had their phones down. What kind of a business does not get their phones fixed asap or check messages for that matter? I have rented from National for a decade plus and choose from the executive group of cars. I have never had such poor service and lame excuses. This is a common occurrence at this location no where else have I encountered such a standard protocol to leave a customer hanging. I have at least two more trips back to this airport before the end of the year for business. I will not be using National for my business here. I was not the only customer on my flight that was left with this horrible experience. I cannot believe this is an allowed business practice that is enforced by the management team.

I had a confirmed reservation with National yesterday. When I arrived I was told that there were no cars available. This was late at night after 10 pm, I was directed towards a cab service which had stopped running for the night. When asked about the company’s policy If they are not able to fulfill a reservation I was told they didn’t have one, when I asked if I would be reimbursed for any cab fare that I would have I was told no, which is industry standard. When I called Nationals main number I was told that reimbursement for cab fare when a reservation could not be accommodated is common practiceIt’s baffling how you can still make a reservation when they know at a location no cars are available.

My rate is specially dedicated to my experience at West Virginia Charlestón Yeager Airport at pick up check in time, please keep in mind before you use National at this destination, that they don't have any advantages, you have to stop by a counter and make a line, in my case it was a big one, because no one was at National counter, just a sign that say something like we are temporary out please visit the next counter for help, well the next one is Avis and they are not the ones helping, it was actually Enterprice, the sing was confusing, so we ended up making not one but two lines there, the only reason I use National was to avoid Enterprice lines and check in times, but I ended up at Enterprice any ways at the end, if I know that in advance, I will just rent cheaper with Enterprice lol, they just give me the only car they say it was available. No other options. The car at the end was a Toyota Camry brand new only 800 miles, car was clean and good, but them at return check out I notice that National counter was close, so I guess they never open, I have to make another line to return the car Key at enterprice, since there is no drop of box there at parking lot.

Multiple factors made this a bad experience with National. I had made a reservation for a minivan ahead of time. When I got to the airport there were no minivans available. We waited for 40 minutes while they found one for us and got it cleaned and ready. They did give us a 10% discount fir the wait and we appreciated that.Then a blizzard canceled all flights for our return flight. We were able to rebook at another airport and I called ahead to move the drop off location for the car. They said they would waive the one way fee, but when we dropped the car off the fees were still there. I am still fighting to get National to do what they said they would do.

Friendly service, my son had car trouble while returning from vacation and was stranded with twin babies in the car. National was understanding and helped to get me a car big enough to hold two car seats and arranged for a one way rental.
