Never again! First of all, I have been a Kroger customer for many years. It's very convenient to my home. I'm also disabled and have recently been very ill. I'm weak with major foot problems following a severe injury.I chose the Pickup option because I didn't feel quite well or strong enough to walk through the store shopping.I placed an AM grocery order in the Kroger App. I MODIFIED my list throughout the morning as I thought of things. No problem at lunchtime pickup except they insisted on charging a pickup fee for modified orders they said were too small to be free. Ok. We'll just eat it. My order was full of doubles, missing items, etc. Well, it won't go to waste so we just said nothing. Yes, we were charged for the doubles.Later, when my fiance arrived back home, he had more things he wanted me to add. I started another order. I chose my time and as I thought of things, I "modified" my list. We had forgotten to order a ham and turkey so I logged back in to add them. That order was completed, so I had to start a brand new order for an hour later. Ok. No problem. At the latest time, my fiance arrived at Kroger to pick up our two orders. He was there for over an hour! An hour and 20 minutes to be exact. He had worked all day and was very tired. It was also cold so he had to leave his truck running. Turned out to be almost half a tank of gas. It was a comedy show! He was told I had made 4 separate orders and they wanted to charge $4.95 each for the 2 smaller added on items to an already existing order.Total for the day was over $400! The extremely rude manager, CC was all her tag said, told him you can't add to or take away from an existing order. I didn't. I MODIFIED my orders. There is a $4.95 fee for orders under $30. She told him that you have to cancel an order and start a new one if you want to add or take something off. Really? Why is that MODIFY MY ORDER button in the app? She refused to be reasoned with and went back inside the warm store. It finally turned out he was charged the fee, but was told it would be taken back off his card. Nope! Still there 2 days later. It finally turned out Kroger owed us .05 cents. It threw everyone into a tizzy! He was cold, annoyed after an hour and 15 minutes and told them to throw the nickel in the street. They told him they had to get it figured out or they couldn't ring out the sale. Another 15 minutes!I was listening to the entire situation on speaker phone. I heard her, CC the manager. She was RUDE! When he finally got home, the orders were all messed up!! Again, double orders, things missing, example, I ordered 2 large baking potatoes. Only received 1, (I guess my fiance and I will have to split one in half and share it. 8 Boxes of Rice A Roni instead of the 4 I had ordered, 2 large blocks of Colby cheese instead of 1, several more. Missing items also caused me to lose sales that specified a certain amount of items. We were both so upset that we didn't even supper that night. I developed a very bad headache that sent me to the Dr. the next morning.Stress! I'm not being dramatic. It was an ordeal! I spent my whole day dealing with Kroger and trying to get my orders right. Then most of the evening trying to compare my receipts against the orders full of mistakes I received. Outrageous too because of the amount of money I spent that day!! I bought for the month!Kroger is super close to my home but they just lost a longtime, loyal customer! I'll travel to get good, polite, professional customer service. It will be worth it! I'll never subject us to this kind of torture (yes, that was a little dramatic ), but I can't think of any other word to describe it right now. Also, I'm a cancer patient. Not trying to get sympathy here. Not my way, it just is what it is. Kroger cost me an entire day with total chaos and time consuming hold ups. What a waste. Can't get back days lost. My fiance told me that 2 other pickup customers were having problems as well. CC never came back out. Why would she? Nice

I was just at the Saint Albans, WV Kroger and I had asked one of the deli employees named Megan a question about a product I was wanting and she answered me very rudely. Their truck had not arrived yet and was supposed to have already arrived and she answered me so rudely about something just because her truck didn’t arrive. Don’t work somewhere you have to work with customers if you can’t be nice.

Did not get one of the peppers they took out of the bag to check out. Between my own and others’ experiences, it seems like not leaving with everything you checked out with is becoming more and more common at all Kroger stores.

I love Kroger. Especially this store in Kanawa city saved my life when I was looking for a place to have dinner after 9.30 pm. It is open until 11 pm, so I was able to buy some groceries to eat something. Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly.

This Krogers is clean and staff is okay My job requires me to visit various Krogers on a daily basis Most of them are pretty good locations to shop for your food, drinks, flowers and beauty needs I would highly recommend to shop any Krogers location

I jumped on here to see what time Kroger opens and read some unflattering comments.,I shop at this Kroger almost exclusively. They have a million things and the produce is the best in our city. I find the staff to be lovely but I know many of them from over the years. If anyone experienced impatience Or rudeness during the pandemic, forgive them. It was wild. They worked heroically in terrible circumstances. I spend a lot of money here and get big discounts on my gasoline.,I recommend them above all others stores in our city because they work so hard to keep it stocked so well. I use click list sometimes and it works pretty well.

This company is horrible, the lines to go in defeat the purpose of social distancing. The staff is far from helpful and always seem to be in a bad mood. The store is not stocked half the time and if you go to buy sandwich meat it's not even cold half the time. Most of the staff don't wear a masks. Walked past several employees breaking social distance protocols

KC Kroger is not enforcing its very own mask requirement. So just take down the sign. What's the use saying they are required to enter?

Wanted to share this. There was a nice young man named Lee working in the meat department who helped my grandma today. She had a coupon for a certain kind of bacon that they were out of. She asked the guy if they had it in stock and he said no. He told her to find another kind of bacon she wanted and he went and put the price of the bacon that was out of stock on the bacon that she was purchasing and put a note for the cashier on it so she got the bacon she purchased for the discount of what the other would have been.

Well stocked and friendly and heading Southbound, off of the last exit before the WVA Turnpike and tolls. Left Cornelius NC to view the foliate in the New River Gorge at 4:15 am and after a long and fruitful day of photography, it was time to head home. Coming back South on I-79 to Charleston and then onto I-77 for the final leg, it was time to stop for lunch. Not wanting to endure the agony of inflated prices on a controlled entry and exit road, I was determined to avoid this if possible. Pulled off I-77 South just before the Turnpike and had lunch at Tudor's Biscuit World which was pretty good and very filing. As I was leaving, there was a Kroger's across the parking lot. I wanted some bottled water so I drove over to pick up some. Different layout than I am used to put on asking, staff directed me to exactly where I need to go. While more that I actually needed, picked up a 24 pack at very nice price. Store is well stocked and prices are good. Very clean store and easy on and easy off I-77.

I use the CheckList service because I am disabled. I could never spend time in the store picking up everything I need, this service is a blessing. The staff is always prompt, efficient and friendly.
