“Everything was great, super clean, not exaggerating to say the staff was professional and excellent, and the breakfast food was plenty fine for what it is. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Very nice stop-over hotel, almost exactly halfway between our origin and destination. Many nice restaurants and stores within minutes of the hotel. Pool is conveniently located near the rooms and secured with a steel fence. Breakfast was included with our room and was freshly made. Tasty! Could use some tech upgrades w.r.t.TV and internet, but those are not high priorities to us. Solid 4 star review for us, and it’s our second time in this place.”

“We booked a room to meet up with friends at a midway point between our homes. The Brass Pineapple was a great choice! The hostess is welcoming, breakfast was excellent. It's clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.”

“We enjoyed staying in this hotel. The front desk people were very friendly. The room was amazing. The conference rooms were very nice . We did not use the pool but next time I will bring my swimsuit because the pool looks beautiful and there is a hot tub. It is an indoor pool surrounded by glass walls. There's a nice area outside the pool for lounging when weather is nice. The only complaints I have are with the restaurant/bar. The food was very fancy, but to be honest, I didn't understand half of the menu. I asked my server if a side dish came with the pork chops, and he picked up the menu and read it to me, which didn't answer my question because I had already read the menu. I ended up ordering a quesadilla, and it was very good but a little expensive. Our server was named John, and he was very nice.Hotel guests get a free breakfast. Unfortunately, we got to breakfast right at 9:00. The place was full, and more people were still coming in. It was a buffet style breakfast. But almost all the food was gone didn't replenish it because it was 9:00 I think that if you have people still eating they got there before 9:00 you should replenish the food. The syrup was completely empty, and when I asked for them to fill the syrup instead, she brought me a little bowl of syrup, but there were two of us, so I had to ask again. Finally, after picking through what little was left, I got food for us, though we didn't get scrambled eggs or sausage. Finally, we were ready to eat, but we had no silverware. There were just empty containers. We had to ask and wait for silverware. We had to ask and wait for orange juice. I was just glad that was free because I would not have paid money for the breakfast we had.Rooms: Our room was wonderful. I was traveling with a person who uses a wheelchair and many times when we stay in a hotel it is cramped and there's no way she can take a shower because it's usually not accessible for her. The room they gave us was beautiful and more importantly it was wheelchair accessible. There was a roll-in shower, the bathroom was big enough for her to turn around in with her chair. There was a space under the sink so she could get right up to it. Our room had a little kitchen. Even the kitchen sink headspace underneath four someone in a wheelchair and the microwave was down low enough for her to reach. There was a Keurig in the room with coffee pods and there was even pots and pans and dishes in the cabinet in case we wanted to cook. I've never stayed in such a nice room and I've definitely never seen a hotel room as accessible as this one was.”

“We are traveling from OH to NC and back over 4 days. We stayed in 3 Hampton Inns along the way and this was the last one and a bad way to end. The others (Mt. Airy and Wilmington) were fantastic. However, Charleston left a bit to be desired. There was no hot water in our room. Which is annoying, but they did give us a different room to shower in, so service was accommodating. The air/heat wouldn't regulate, it was either too hot or too cold, so we just turned it off. Breakfast was just eh. There were 3 types of eggs and some type of weird thing that looked like a chicken nuggets. Thank goodness for the waffles as they are always a win with my kids. It wasn't the worst place but definitely could have been better.”

“Very worn hotel, in much need of updating. The pool is not open, however you can view it and see it is in need of repair. Big distractor was the restaurant staff- so we did not get to take advantage of the breakfast option or any dining options!

The rear of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The shuttle service was a big bonus. This location is close to a couple of restaurants, however, it is also close to a lot of homeless drug addicts- which are a consideration when walking places.

The balcony was locked so no use, this was a bummer to watch the holiday fireworks through the dirty windows.”

“The view from our room was horrible. We saw the disgusting pool with the big black cover on it falling down inside it looking like a horror film outside our window and just beyond that across the street was a line of tents and cardboard boxes for the homeless people had made a little neighborhood on the sidewalk.”
