Saved our vacation…and on a holiday weekend! Helped us with a camper trailer tire that lost significant air unexpectedly half way to our destination. After finding ourselves downtown, towing a trailer to the closest opened tire shop we end up on a rd unexpectedly closed for the holiday parade & the tire place wouldn’t service a trailer tire or even help us put the spare on so we changed to our spare ourselves using boards as a makeshift jack in the middle of the rd. After backing into a drive thru to turnaround, we sought out another tire shop to buy a replacement so we could continue the trip with a spare onboard. Found Garrett’s right before closing time & know it was a blessing to find such caring & helpful technicians to help us. Had our needed tire in stock, insisted on mounting on our rim so it would look nicer than the spare & installed it within minutes, topped off our spare with air & helped us remount it for next time, wishing us safe travels & a good vacation. Couldn’t be happier with their help!

Idk what happened with the reviews here, maybe friends/family but the “man” on the phone is EXTREMELY rude. You don’t work at a TIRE place then laugh at them for asking for a quote. D*ickhead. Asking for kindness and respect is the bare minimum especially towards a potential customer. Do better.

Travelling from Toronto to Florida and we hit debris near Flatwood WV on the I 79, blowing my 20” tire apart. I was able to get the donut on and crawl around to nearby towns for a fix with no luck finding a 20” tire. Charleston was 1 hour away so we gingerly made our way there and found Garrett’s who immediately went to work, only to discover a big hole in the aluminum rim. They arranged for a specialized welder to try to repair it the next day, but after 3 attempts it kept failing. Kim was working hard at the same time on a contingency plan involving shipping a replacement rim in overnight from Maryland. Arrived the next morning and we were (finally) back on the road. The whole team at Garrett’s were sympathetic, kind and bent over backwards to help us. If you’re in trouble in the area, these are the folks who can help you!

Kim and crew came to our rescue when we broke down passing thru Charleston on a Sunday morning. Being from out of town, we had concerns about where to trust our repair. Through a local tip, we found Garrett Tire and they had us up and running the next day. Excellent customer service! Thank you.

I first took my car to them in July of 2022. I've had nothing but issues pertaining to the work they did to my car. I've had to take it back to them several times, to other Shops and finally having no one but a costly Dealership fix my car. I had no problems with my car until they laid hands on it. The value has greatly decreased because of the insurmountable repairs. Not to mention how much money I've had to put out. It's not worth taking your car here. They may have been in Business for 30 years, but what that means is they are slacking. And no longer care about Best Business practices or quality mechanics. Don't take your car here unless you want continuous problems and continuous money outta pocket.
