I stopped by this store during a trip to the mall recently. When I entered the store the two employees were talking loudly about the company and recent meetings. The selection in the store was not all that great and the prices were a bit steep. I did purchase a couple of things, but I don't usually shop at this store unless I just happen to be at the mall.

The older woman is so rude!! She was working register. I'll never go back to this store. She made my little boy very upset.

The staff at this GameStop is always rude, particularly one older woman who obviously doesn't want to be there and definitely should not be working in customer service. The only time she has been friendly was when we bought a PlayStation 5 from her and then she was extremely helpful. Upon a visit to the store today, my son asked a simple question and received a very rude, sarcastic answer. I called her out on being so rude and told her we would never set forth in her store again. We have spent a lot of money at the Charleston location in the past but will take our business elsewhere, hopefully where the staff is friendlier. She has not been the only rude employee at GameStop in the Town Center Mall, but she is definitely the worst.

a man with thick dreads at the register was extremely rude to me when i came in 20 min before closing and asked about a game. i hope that man’s day got better ?

talked to someone online about canceling my order instead initiated a return when the headset was at the store make it make sense!

I've always had a love hate relationship with GameStop. On one hand, they have the best selection of games and systems, can get you almost anything your looking for, and they have excellent customer service. On the other hand, they absolutely rob people on buying and trading games/systems. But, no one is forced to sell or trade with GameStop, and if you only buy from them, you'll absolutely love them!

the Manager is awesome ?? at the Charleston town center mall. she exchanged my new $54 Xbox series x controller because it looked like it had been damaged during shipment even after opening the new one right infront of me and comparing it that there was nothing wrong with it but it all's good ?? got my new controller anyway so I'm happy ?

I seem to have a problem of the employees NOT PUTTING THE GAME IN THE CASE BEFORE CHECKOUT... this is the second time I got home and there was no CD in the case , and no it was not a digital download

Wanted to trade in for my Xbox one S decent condition told him it needed refurbished and didn't have a disc drive still told me to bring it down told me to be around $100 I get there and the manager micro analyzes everything about it and says it could have bugs in it never heard anything like that my life at any GameStop and I've traded in multiple consoles in similar condition so I wasted 45 minutes of my life because one employee told me they can take it and then I get down there in a manger microanalysis it ,so don't trust trade in prices and don't trust what they say on the phone, I took it too Southridge GameStop never mention one thing like that ESPECIALLY NOT BUGS ,they took it minus the refurbish fee. I felt like I was being judged I will never shop at this particular GameStop again. 01/30/22 12:00 pm

This review is not specifically aimed at this store, but at Gamestop as a whole company. I purchased a PS4 Pro console (refurbished) for my son for Christmas. Upon receiving the console the controller they sent with it didn't work, wouldn't even charge or turn on. I contacted customer service who informed me that I needed to return the entire console to have the controller replaced, that they would not just replace the controller. I informed them that I was not taking my sons Christmas present from him to return it over a broken controller that should've been checked before it was ever sent to a customer. They offered me no type of reimbursement or replacement for the controller. I now have to go and purchase a controller because they sent junk and only want to replace if I send back the entire console. I will never deal with this company again!! Completely dissatisfied!!!
