I love most Dollar Generals. I have been to most within a 100 mile radius of my home. I will never stop at this one again. I have never been treated so rudely or hatefully by any employee anywhere! I was there at 8:45 am on May 11 2021. The employee was outside and saw me go in. I had to wait and wait for over 5 minutes for her to decide to come in. I asked where something was and she very hatefully said "you're looking right at them" (the item was hidden behind a display) When checking out I looked for a sign on the card reader that said no cash back, as many of the Dollar Generals seem to be doing that now for some unknown reason, and did not see one. She gave me my $10 and she reached around the plexiglass, rubbed on it, and then nastily said "yep, it's still there" I looked high up on the glass and saw a tiny little sign that said no cash back. I said oh sorry, never thought o look up there. She then said something else that I did not quit catch the words, but again, the same nasty, hateful tone. I drove by several hours later and there were zero customers there. I can understand why if all the employees there are as hateful as that one.

The staff is always friendly. The store does need more employees, therefore, more hours as it seems that upper management must feel that my time is theirs to waste as often the registerr is not manned at all times. They expect them to be in the back stocking shelves and have to run back and forth doing 2 or three jobs at once. Why make people stand in line to hand you money?
