Going here takes me back to my childhood riding around with my grandpa, the coolers humming, the smell of produce and the packed shelves. These little stores used to be everywhere and he would stop at lots of them to buy stuff and to talk to the people. Looking back I realize that he was trying to spend money local to help keep these little places going. Most of them are gone now except for this one and it's got the best hotdogs around and really good nobake cookies as well.
