I sometimes stop at this deli when I'm visiting Charleston. 3 or 4 times total, now. Today was the most recent stop. I finally met the short (Italian?) woman that has been mentioned several times here. Yes, she initially comes across as rude and difficult to understand. She mentioned she didn't have the bread we were looking for because it was Sunday in an off-putting tone. I agree that customer service makes a business and there's no excuse for it. However, even though I considered just leaving, I decided to get some New Year's champagne. She was very sweet to my daughter and even gave her a free brownie. Again, there's no excuse for screaming at customers, but good actions should be mentioned, as well.

We stopped by this little carry-out deli and were surprised to find lots of interesting craft beers and a generous selection of wines. The deli was closed but we were able to snag some goodies to go: we bought some veggie grape leaves, lobster bisque and baba ghanoush. Everything was really good but the baba was, hands down, the most flavorful, smoky baba I’ve ever had. The lady working the register (the owner, we presume) was very kind; she’s a pleasure to do business with. We can’t wait to return to try the baklava and some of the other amazing looking homemade delights!!

Great little deli with a nice variety of craft beer and wine. We grabbed some veggie grape leaves and baba ghanoush. By far, the most spectacular, smoky baba I've ever had! The owner was working the cashier. We found her to be very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back to try more of the food!

Very friendly place! Delicious food! The owner treated us like family, we had Gyro lamb, hummus, and grape leaves ( bestttttt ever), it’s definitely a place to go and spend lovely time!! I recommend ❤️❤️

this place is amazing. i’ve been going there for the past few years and i’ve never had a bad experience. the owner has a very big heart and is very sweet. the food there is amazing! the lamb gyros, hummus, grape leaves, pasta salads etc… i definitely recommend.

this is a very lovely store, the food is amazing and it tasted fresh, the lady on the counter is so sweet. i always go with my friends and honestly i have no regrets.

Visiting the area for the weekend, and stopped by this shop a couple times! Super nice, clean, nice supply of beer and wine, and the owner was so friendly. Definitely would recommend.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I tried returning slimy and gooey mozzarella bag of cheese my husband had just bought. It smelled rancid and looked disgusting. I was extremely polite. The owner screamed in my face and refused to give me a refund because “I don’t make the cheese here that’s not my fault” and “Kroger wouldn’t refund you” (yes they would). She brought an employee out to watch and listen to me be screamed at and degraded. I told her again I wanted my money back because the cheese was spoiled and inedible or I’d be filing a formal complaint. She screamed at me all the way to the register and told me I wasn’t welcome back. No problem- with that customer service I would never want to step foot in there again.

Great little spot with a nice selection of food and drinks. The baklava is the best we have eaten and the homemade brownies are also great. The staff was very cordial and accommodating.
